Thanks for the link Ceri, that vignette was gorgeous! Just the way I would imagine young Thornton. I'm rather curious to read the book now, I admit, though variations aren't something I usually look for.

Ceri | 176 comments I am glad you enjoyed the vignette too, Becca!

Nicole Clarkston | 5 comments Thank you, Ceri, for all of your support! So, can I make a little announcement? The vignettes from this blog tour have inspired me to weave them into a third North and South variation. I am already five chapters in! No promises on release date yet, but you all have been so wonderful, I have to give you ladies the credit for the idea.

Mary Nicole, that's fantastic news!!! So happy to hear that the amazing stories you wrote for the blog tour will earn a place in a book,a N&S variation, that no doubt will be loved by all!! I'm just delighted that you took on board all the positive feedback that you received from your well wishers!! The very best of luck with it! So looking forward to reading it.

Fiona Rowe (flossiebookreader) | 2 comments Hey thanks for the recommendations on here. Just a shout out to people that on A03 there are a couple of well researched stories too
Not a gentlemen = my personal favourite https://archiveofourown.org/works/837...
Pride and Power = AU set in Liverpool https://archiveofourown.org/works/187...

Also anyone know why c19 stopped taking new members and didn’t just make it read only for non members with access. Know several people that never could get a log in

The group was closed and made read-only. Of course there couldn´t be new members then or shortly before. The authors of the variations (not only N&S) also complained about people reading their stories and not commenting, but this wasn´t the reason. As I´m no Mod there, I can´t say anything about the real reasons, as members don´t know them.
