Bii (biileto) | 3 comments Hello there! My name is Beatriz, but I'm mostly known online and irl as Bee or Bia. I'm eighteen years old and currently in law school. Nevertheless, I'm determined to read more than I did last year. I think I've been doing very well, having finished today my fourteenth book of the year.
1. Scarlet, by Marissa Meyer - 3/5 stars
2. Cress, by Marissa Meyer - 4/5 stars
3. Winter, by Marissa Meyer - 3.75/5 stars
4. Illuminae, by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff - 3.5/5 stars.
5. Between Shades of Gray, by Ruta Sepetys - 3/5 stars.
6. The Name of the Wind, by Patrick Rothfuss - 3.5/5 stars.
7. Warmup, by V. E. Schwab - 2/5 stars.
8. A Monster Calls, by Patrick Ness - 4/5 stars.
9. Macbeth, by William Shakespeare - 2/5 stars.
10. My Life Next Door, by Huntley Fitzpatrick - 3/5 stars.
11. Howl's Moving Castle, by Diana Wynne Jones - 3.5/5 stars.
12. The Grownup, by Gillian Flynn - 3/5 stars
13. Ready Player One, by Ernest Cline - 4/5 stars
14. Stars Above, by Marissa Meyer - 3/5 stars (overall)

My Goodreads goal is 40 books, though I do hope I surpass it - still, school tends to stay in the way.

I'm not really sure what to read next. Brave New World? Daughter of Smoke and Bone? Burial Rites? All the Light We Cannot See? Throne of Glass?

Does anyone have recommendations?

Cassandra | 5832 comments Welcome to the group, and good luck with your challenge!

Brave New World is one of my favorite classic dystopias, so it's a must-read at some point if you like that sort of thing.

All the Light We Cannot See has beautiful imagery and writing, and the short chapters make it seem to go by pretty fast.

I haven't read any of the others, but I've heard great things about Throne of Glass. I hope to read that one this year.

Hope that helps somewhat! :)
