Bran Gustafson (brangustafson) | 4 comments Hello all! I recently published my debut novel, a pulpy noir/modernwestern called "Coyote." It's actually the first in a series called "The Untamed State." Find the book description here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

I'm hoping for honest reviews and feedback. And I do mean honest. I’m not worried about negative reviews, and if you didn’t like it I feel people deserve to know why.

You can get it free in a variety of formats on Smashwords until 3/11/16 using coupon code YH93G: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view...

If you're reading this after that date or would prefer not to use Smashwords, email me at brangustafsonfiction@gmail.com and I'll get you a copy in your preferred format.

I’m also giving away 5 signed print copies on Goodreads. Get the details and sign up here: https://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/sh...

See below for the book’s description. Thanks for reading!

Montezuma. The Untamed State. True now more than ever, since the Thunderbird Highway closed and civilization fled. Now Montezuma is a ghost state, a haven for the lawless where only the most savage thrive.

Mai is on the run from the law herself, driving down the abandoned highway through the desert, to the mountains where she was born. When her Bronco breaks down in the near-dead town of Maquina, she quickly makes several ruthless enemies trying to get back on the road. She also makes one friend, a laid-back bartender whose easy charm threatens to distract her from what she means to do. Mai is tough and she’s smart, but is that enough to get back on the road and survive the Untamed State?

Coyote is a hard-hitting neo-western, best enjoyed in a cheap roadside motel or in the corner booth of a dim dive bar with whiskey.

M.A. Levi (malevi) | 32 comments Hey Bran, nice to meet you. Your book sounds really edgy and a great read. From a Michigan author to another, I was wondering how about a trade of reviews. I'll read your book for an honest review and you'll read mine for one as well. A trade of PDFs. Understanding incredibly well, reader's reviews are the continual life force for books - it seems like a fair trade. Let me know what you think. You can find out more about my book here on Goodreads. :)
