Twenty-Four

I'm really liking this book so far. I just wish I had more time to read! The end of the school year is so stressful.

I just finished ch. 16 and I like it too. :)

I agree with your spoiler. Her grandpa (view spoiler)[hasn't seen her in ages, and he doesn't even entertain the idea that she might be right. Ugh...why is he SO adamant that there IS no such guy? Something seems very wrong to me. (hide spoiler)]

I just finished the part where (view spoiler)[Megan got into Chancellor's computer. That was pretty darn gutsy!! But I'm glad she wants to be friends with Grace and I'm hoping it's genuine. (hide spoiler)]

Noah (view spoiler)[ is the only one so far who really has taken her seriously. I like him a lot. He seems like a good and loyal friend who has Grace's back. (hide spoiler)]

I knew that (view spoiler)[her grandpa new the man with the scar. It was very obvious that he knew him somehow. It was also evident that as she went to the poker game area that scar face would be there. Question is WHY did her grandpa deny he even EXISTED??? Is he involved somehow? I wouldn't think so but why is he lying??? (hide spoiler)]

Grace (view spoiler)[blows my mind at how brave and courageous or how stupid she is. LOL I was a bit freaked out when she was following Scar Face through the tunnels! That was close. It all makes sense though. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I really enjoyed this book! Right when she was starting to doubt herself so did I. Then everything changed. I like that this was a short read. It made it easier for me read and get done during the week. I already requested the next one from the library. :) (hide spoiler)]

Finished and I really liked it, especially the last 50-75 pages or so.

I definitely did not expect (view spoiler)[that she was the one who'd killed her mother. I really thought she was going to be right about the Scarred Man up until a certain point. I like it when books don't end the way I thought and there's a twist. At least I didn't see it coming. (hide spoiler)]
