Read a book with a one word title. No leading articles or sub-titles allowed for this one.

Valerie Brown | 3268 comments You'd think this would be simple! I think of this as a one word title, but I see the dreaded "a novel" is appended. So, does it count for this task or not?

Zorro

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14229 comments I don't see "a novel" on the MPE, but even so, that generic subtitle does not apply. (In fact, if found on GR, it should be removed from the title.) Other generic subtitles probably don't apply either, but one would be wise to ask about those.

Thank you! I didn't think it applied, but I wanted to check to make sure. I think I saw "a novel" on amazon.

Lagullande | 1131 comments Just wondering whether NW counts or not? Not sure whether "no, because the title isn't a word", or "yes, because there are no spaces, so it's all one".

We'll take it.

Karen Michele Burns (klibrary) | 5272 comments I just finished this book and found it had a subtitle that is sort of generic, but not quite:

Georgia: A Novel of Georgia O'Keeffe

Would this count here?

No, that would not be a generic subtitle.

Karen Michele Burns (klibrary) | 5272 comments Ok, that's what I figured --- I should have noticed that in the first place. Luckily it's a 4 letter author first name, Dawn!

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14229 comments Glad you found a place for it!
