And starting today, everyone who visits the booth and sends me a comment or question will be entered for my special convention giveaway. I’m giving away 10 copies of a special short story collection called Trillium. This includes a brand new, never-before published short story.

In addition, I've contributed a print-copy of Dead Reckoning And Other Stories to the main SF giveaway. So be sure to enter that too to win books by me and other SF authors.
If you aren't aware there is a cover wars event going on too where you can vote for your favorite covers. It's bound to be a brutal, bloody affair and in the end only one can win. Vote for Dead Reckoning and Hector will repay you! Well, he probably won't actually, he's a bit of a miser, but I'll be grateful!

Now, would you kindly collect Hector and bring him back home? He's been causing a ruckus down here in the states as of late. ;)

Hi Traci, the stories aren't "connected" as such, but many of them do have little hidden connections and a somewhat common timeline. :-)

So, during the conference I'm running my "Game Of Threes" game. All of the authors on the blog tour have been surreptitiously entered for it, though they didn't know it at the time!
The rules are simple. Tell me your favorite three SF authors and why you like them so much. All entries will go in to a virtual hat for the prize draw.
And the prize, you ask? Well all readers and writers know that a good bottle of wine goes with reading (and writing), so the prize is... a $15 Amazon gift voucher! *
*Yeah, I know, it kind of sucks. My lawyer, Mr. Inge, unfortunately
stepped in. It WAS going to be a wine voucher, but then he said I don't know who you are, whether you can buy alcohol, lots of ominous sounding words such as "liability" and all that legal bollocks**. So think of this as an Amazon virtual wine voucher (or chocolates, the other perfect book companion!)
**Bollocks - a British term meaning "expert, thoroughly researched and referenced legal advice."
P.S. My wife thinks I look very sexy dressed in my leather gear in the photo at the top. She likes the sword too!
P.P.S. And here's the wine you could have had...

Hi Dave I love the book cover! I write Sci-fi as well. I also have a booth here at the fairgrounds come by and say hi!

*Drum roll please*

Congratulations to the winners! I'll be contacting you on Monday to arrange delivery.
More prize winners to be announced tomorrow and don't forget to join in with the Game of Threes to win a "bottle of wine."
What you lookin’ for today? Nurses, nuns, choir-boys, donkeys? I got ‘em all. Any vice for any imagination, that’s my game. Why don’t you just sit down right there while we discuss business…
Ahem… that’s quite enough of that, thank you! Let me introduce myself. I’m Dave – writing as David M. Kelly. I’m an SF author, with a bit of fantasy thrown into the mix. Originally from Huddersfield, England, I’ve lived for 10 years in beautiful, Northern Ontario, Canada.
I’ve published a short story collection, Dead Reckoning and Other Stories. It’s there that you can meet the PimpDaddy as well as Hector and a whip-wielding giant who likes to dress people in itchy shorts! I’ve also written a number of other short stories, one of which was recently published in the Paws for a Tale charity anthology. I’ve also been published in Canadian SF magazine Neo-opsis.
Stay tuned during the convention for information on my upcoming first novel, code-named MOE, and details of my special convention giveaway! You can also sign up for my newsletter and I’ll send you a free short story!
