Marla looks a lot like her sister, but she is a bit shorter and tends to wear biker jackets and clothing normally seen worn by guys.

-Her younger half brother's death and parents deaths' but she used that to only get stronger blaming it on the others
-The last normal day never happening again

Characters history: Marla was born and raised alongside her older sister, Katie. When the others came, things got rough and they lost other family members. Marla banded together with her cousins, Alex and Max along with her sister Katie to survive the others' attack. Marla was a normal girl before all of this ever happened. Normal life, completely normal. A jerky boyfriend, super smart best friend, Marla even skipped the 7th grade with her best friend as well. That all changed the moment the first wave started. Marla's family wanted to get out of there, but her half brother, Aaron, got hurt and things only got worse from there.

Characters personality: Marla is sweet on her family and friends, but she hates the others with a passion. She trained herself during the fourth wave to use a shotgun and since then she has been using one. She never usually trained in any weaponry before all of this started happening. She was a tough girl and she was athletic. She was the soccer team captain and cross country captain. She loved parties and she really wishes her half brother were still alive. She is very protective when it comes to her cousins and sister. She is always ready for a fight even if she doesn't have to be, she likes to be ready in case the others attack at any time.

Characters history: Josh was born as a twin with Maxille and they were born a year after their older brother, Alex. When the first wave hit, their family wanted to get out of there but when their parents didn't do a good job of it things started getting worse. Josh and his siblings along with their friend Maria and cousins Marla and Katie were stuck in the school for a bit. During the waves after, things got really messed up. Josh's parents died of the avian disease and during the fourth wave his other younger siblings had been killed by the silencers. During the second wave, his girlfriend who was a cheerleader was turned and things got a little bit odd. After a while though, he found out that she had killed herself because she didn't want to do what the others had been planning to do.

Characters personality: Like Alex, Josh is tough yet outgoing and he is willing to die to protect his friends and family. He is sweet but he has a huge hatred of the others. He is smart and he is a quick learner. He is defensive and he loves spending time with his living human friends and family. He is willing to learn new weapons but he also does not want to become like the Others. Even when the days were normal, he still hated the military and for a completely different reason than them taking kids for unknown reasons. Josh is willing to fight until there is nothing left to fight for.

Characters history: Maxille was born as a twin with Joshua and they were born a year after their older brother, Alex. On the last normal day, Max was hanging out at a huge party and with their friend Maria who is actually his ex-girlfriend and they had planned to catch a movie afterwards but did not due to things getting different after that. When the first wave hit, Max, Alex, Josh, Maria, Katie, and Marla were at school but their parents wanted to get out of the area before anything else went crazy. That did not go as planned though. Max found out during the third wave that his current girlfriend at the time had gotten the but she had survived and as far as he knew though she had been killed because he has not yet seen her. During the flu, his parents were also killed and then things got to the point where he had to train himself. He teamed up with his friend, his cousins, and his living brothers because his other siblings had been off somewhere else and by the fourth wave the other younger siblings he had ended up being killed by the silencers.

Characters personality: Max is tough like his brothers and he is outgoing. He only sympathizes with the others that actually are helping out against their own kind. Otherwise, Max hates the others and he wishes that his parents were not dead. He is athletic and smart but he is also stubborn as well as ready for whatever will come his way.

History: Rain does not remember anything pre others. Presumably she was attacked when the looting struck after the first wave hit. She suffered a pretty hard blow to the head and was left for dead. Lucky for her, a middle aged man named Jones found her and nursed her back to health. Jones had to teach her everything, it was like having a child. He had to teach her how to talk, how to walk, how to fire a gun, you name it. Rain never regained her memory, so now the only 'family' she has come to know is Jones. He even gave her her current name, picked due to the fact the girl reminded him of his late daughter, he gave her his daughter's middle name. A few weeks ago Rain and Jones had run into a couple silencers. In the chaos of getting away the two got separated and now Rain is on her own, trying to track down the only person she can remember  ever knowing.

Personality: Rain is a very cautious girl. Though she is a perfect shot, she tends to ask questions first before shooting though, she doesn't want to kill unless absolutely necessary.

History:

Childhood: Mint's childhood was mainly uneventful until her mother died when she and her twin sister Tyme were seven. When her mom was out of the way, her father made inappropriate advances on the two young girls, leading to full-blown sexual abuse. Mint ran away from home and lived on the streets with Tyme. At the time, she started to develop the meth addiction that controls her today.
Teen years: When Mint was fifteen, Tyme was killed in the same street fight that blinded her. After she watched her sister die, Mint fell into a deep depression, started to shoot meth and took up residence at a drug den. She sold herself into the sex trade and found herself pregnant with a girl named Alaina. After the girl was taken away from her and placed in foster care, she left Detroit due to a extreme debt to a drug dealer. She took up residence on Skid Row in a old tent with a stray pitbull mix named Grey. She had three more kids (Hunter, Whitney and Joshua) who are also in the care of the state.
Adulthood: She found herself at the wrong place at the wrong time and witnessed a stabbing. As she fled the scene, the imagine of a woman who was stabbed and violated with the knife burned into her mind, another witness told the police she thought Mint did it. The unknown killer who murdered the woman went on to kill six more women on Skid Row, leaving Mint as the main suspect for a series of brutal killings. She was sentenced in a public trial to life in prison with chance of parole in 2027 behind home bars in Detroit. But after the third wave, the prison system broke down. She was able to escape a day before the fourth wave. She found a trailer park outside the now completely deserted city of Detroit. She set up camp and has evaded the Others so far.
