I ordered this from Amazon today. I was intrigued by the parts Jocko read and I want to read the book as a whole. Anyone else going to read this one?
I especially appreciated the discussion and ideas for training police officers to be comfortable handling high stress situations using simulation. It could save lives and facilitate better outcomes for everyone. We have so many lessons and tactics learned from the military, especially the SOF community, that are so applicable here. Much appreciation for Jocko being so generous and willing to share his experience and thoughts with everyone using these media platforms. Jocko used the word inoculation in a prior podcast. We already know this but he has a way of expressing the idea with examples that make it seem doable for anyone...
