I'm in for the long haul. Harry is a character we have met at a certain point in his life, and we've got his Vietnam background. I will look forward to future cases as well as to future growth on his part.I like his home! Imagine the views....
I'm enjoying the books overall and I love Harry too. I do think that Connelly's writing tends to become overly descriptive during the action as the end and this makes the story drag a bit. Hopefully this will improve in later installments.

I thought the same thing in the first few books Lauren but I feel the writing seems to lighten up a bit around book 4.

I actually think the next book is where I started seeing a shift in the writing. It begins to peel back the layers of Harry's past, which makes the first two stories start to make more sense.
