Zia question

Zia is Karana's niece and Ulape's daughter. In this book she goes with her brother to attempt to rescue her aunt. It's showing how much has changed since Karana's family left. I could say more, but it has been a while since I read it and I do not know how much of it you have read so far. I suggest reading all of Zia and if you are still confused you can go back and reread Island of the Blue Dolphins.
