Got a few possibilites for option 3, if you could confirm the titles are red enough:

For option 3.
?. The whole cover is red so I see the white as being around the title as a highlighter to enable them to be read not as part of the letters themselves. The title is げんきEdit: nm, I have received a different cover anyway :-)

Is this very dark blood red? I'm really not sure about the 'The' as it's very small. This is the version my local library says it has a copy of and I'm trying to look at this at night under lights and I'm squinting at my computer screen.

It looks like a gradient of black to red- and the "The" looks black.

Option 3. March 8 is National Proofreading Day. Break out the red pen! Read a book with the entire TITLE in Red on the cover.
