Thanks, Julesy, I've loved the Chet & Bernie stories I've read so far. I don't really need them for any other challenges, but I haven't read them in a while and am in the mood. Perfect picking.

Stacie Amelotte | 44 comments Hi Salena! You have so many great series to select from. For you I choose Books by the Bay series by Ellery Adams. I really love the protagonist, Olivia Limoges. She's a bit different than the normal. She's in her 40's and established which gives her a unique edge and a refreshing depth and maturity that some cozies are lacking. Look forward to hearing what you think.

Happy Reading!
~Stacie

I didn't pick for you Karen. Four of the five series that your match partner listed were books that she had already read. They did not qualify for this challenge. She decided to sit out this month rather than edit her choices.

Well it turns out all of these were short books! So I read all three today lol, they were okay, if any more in the series are written I will possibly read them but not ones I will rush out to get, but I am glad to have read them and cleared them from my ever increasing TBR pile!

From Jeanne:

I finished Once Upon a Grind by Cleo Coyle, which was my other March challenge book. All the usual characters are preent. This one centers on the use of a coffee truck to enhance the business and coincide with a new Broadway musical. Clare finds a body in Central Park thought to be a drug overdose. Clare refuses to accept this and the game's afoot. This is more like the traditional Cleo Coyle series and I liked it better than Dead to the Last Drop.

carla | 7 comments I finished The Lies That Bind Kate Carlisle and absolutely loved it. I have started my second book murder under cover. I love this series, I highly recommend them.

message 83: by Anna Catharina (new)

Anna Catharina I finished Double-Booked for Death (Black Cat Bookshop Mystery, #1) by Ali Brandon today and it was a good book but a really slow read for me. I lik,e the characters and love Hamlet but I think the characters are very flat. I hope the development is better in the second book.

message 84: by Karen (new)

Connie N. | 499 comments I finished the first of my March reads:

The Dog Who Knew Too Much by Spencer Quinn - 3/15/16 ♥♥♥♥

Very fun, as expected--I love this series. I have the next one all lined up to listen to by the same narrator--Jim Frangione. He did a great job. But I highly doubt I'll get to it before the month is over.

I loved that first book. The narrator does a fantastic job. I quit this series after about the 4th or 5th book. Seems like every mystery plot was identical to the previous one.

Connie N. | 499 comments Julesy, I've read the 1st 4 books so far and am still enjoying them. Now that I tried the audio version, they seem to have a fresh start. So I'll definitely keep going.

Lori | 75 comments I finished two books for my series this month. Going to try and get another one done this month.
1. Fudge Cupcake Murder by Joanna Fluke. Fudge Cupcake Murder (Hannah Swensen, #5) by Joanne Fluke Really enjoyed this one. Kept me guess and wasn't a lot of the love triangle.
2. Carrot Cake Murder by Joanna Fluke Carrot Cake Murder (Hannah Swensen, #10) by Joanne Fluke Liked this one too. This is one of my favorite series. Almost have caught up with the series.
Need to get busy on My April books.

Linda C (libladynylindac) Finished the first book for March Strong Spirits (Daisy Gumm Majesty, #1) by Alice Duncan by Alice Duncan. Heroine is a medium in the 1920s. Some interesting side issues that I'm interested in seeing where they go.

I totally agree! I think it is the worst book of the serie!

Marisa (moretta) | 421 comments I've begun my serial reading with A Spirited Tail. I've enjoyed as much as the first book, and I enjoy the animals' POV. If I don't finish the read this month, I'll finish it the next, because I like the series a lot.

A Spirited Tail (Mystic Notch Cozy Mystery, #2) by Leighann Dobbs

message 95: by Louise (new)

Louise Finished Agatha Raisin & the Wellspring of Death (Agatha Raisin, #7) by M.C. Beaton , I enjoyed this one the series seems to be back on track.

message 96: by Anna Catharina (new)

Anna Catharina I finished my second book A Novel Way to Die (Black Cat Bookshop Mystery, #2) by Ali Brandon . I really liked it and i'm looking forward for the other books. But now, I need a little break :)

Kay (Brigidsmomma) Compton (brigidsmomma) | 122 comments I've finished the 1st 2 books in the Jazz Phillips series which was picked for me this month. I have book 3 and will (hopefully) get to read it before the month is out as well, but as I have recently discovered that this series has many more books out, I guess I will have to put it back on my list for another month as I am out of funds for new books this month!

I know what you mean, AC. I can't usually read more than 2 books in a series at a time, needing to take a break and read something completely different to shake things up.

I have started on the 2nd book, A Deadly Cliché (A Books by the Bay Mystery #2) by Ellery Adams . I hope to have it finished by Friday.

message 100: by Marisa (new)

Marisa (moretta) | 421 comments I've already finished my second one, A Mew To A Kill. I think it's too similar to the previous one, and I've read them too near. It's a series which must be read apart, that's my feeling so far.
