I'm trying out the Hamilton Tag let's go *cracks knuckles*


1). How did you find out about Hamilton? The comment section of the video about Lin writing the Cantina Band song in TFA was full of Hamilton fans ranting about how great he was, so I was like 'ok what a musical about Alexander Hamilton that's hilarious.'

So I listened to three seconds of Alexander Hamilton before I quit in disgust about the rap features, because I detest rap.

Then I found out my friend loved Hamilton, so I decided to retry it, watching instead the live video of Alexander Hamilton. And then my life pretty much went downhill from there.

2). Favorite Character? I can relate too much to Burr so probably him. But oh my gosh I love them all Thomas Jefferson is so great too so is Ham and Eliza and Laurens and Maria I can't choose

3). Character you would want to play? If I played a character Hamilton would be bankrupted, but I would probably play Eliza since it would be the most fitting role.

4). Favorite song to listen to? It varies every day, but today it's Washington On Your Side.

5). Favorite song to sing along with? Probably One Last Time since I want to nail that Farewell Address before I do anything else with my life.

6). Part you always mess up when you're singing along? Forgetting where the heck I am in My Shot and absolutely messing up Ham's part in "Right Hand Man"

7). Can you rap guns and ships? I can but I sound like a dying duck.

8). Which cast member would you most want to meet? LIN. ALSO JASMINE and PHILLIPA BUT FREAKING LIN

9). Have you seen the show? You've kept me from the room where it happened for the last time.

10) .Have you read the book? It's on my never-ending to-do list.

11). Favorite line in the show? If you wanted me to write them all out this list would run the length of Earth.

Uhhhhh I really love how the ensemble sings the "Dear Mr. Hamilton" part in The Election of 1800. Burr's "I am inimitable, I am an original" gets me all the time, and Washington's "I want to sit under my own vine and fig tree" is just so wow.

Also I don't know who but I love Washington On Your Side's "Southern ____ Democratic-Replublicans", as well as "We won't be invisible, we won't be denied."


12). Five words to describe the show? I Will Never Be Satisfied

Three moons Marie Lu's new duology sounds so great it's like the reincarnation of Ready Player One this is going to be gooood

I saddens me to think all of the brilliant metaphors my collab holds will never be recognized

I hate March so much it's when extracurriculars and 'fairs' and contests and applications and projects and competitions all pile up and you have no choice but to climb over all of them.
