The Holy Bible: English Standard VersionOK..So wait up, does this include religious books?I don't know if it's compulsory for all the Christians to read Bible or something, but nevertheless, I come from an entirely different world, and I was attempting to read my bible that I bought "Oh So Dearly" coz it was pretty damn expensive(not to be offensive) and I had to tolerate my Mom's huffs too as she is not such a great reader! I just hope it's interesting though. What do you guys think?

Even though this is a YA book group, I've never noticed anyone caring in particular what books were part of your daily goals.
As for the Bible, personally, I think it's a good idea if you are a practicer of a particular religion to be familiar with it's sacred texts. So if you are wanting to read it through entirely, I suggest some possibilities: Look up a roughly chronological reading plan, the books are not necessarily in chronological order. Also, you might want to read a summary of each book before reading to give you an idea of what you are reading. Also getting a historical context of the time and place will also be really helpful.
