Charles | 3 comments This is my first thread so something to think about: I feel there ought to be a way to add publishing information when adding quotes. I see too many ill-sourced quotes on Google that lead back to Goodreads. I think it is our responsibility to source quotes correctly and as efficiently as possible, becuase if we don't, we are only adding to the problem that is being furthered by uninformed people who come to Goodreads seeking quotes to post on their blogs. Such poor sourcing is a reflection on the integrity of this site. Thank you for listening.

This is not a Librarians Group issue, but one for the Feedback Group, or you may wish to use the Contact Us link on the Help page. While librarians can edit quotes, they have no control over general site functionality, such as how quotes are added. Closing thread.
