Caecilia Saori .. ☕.. good morning!
Oh!~ how nice. I just love to start my day with a Poll :)
Thank you for setting this up.

And it looks like Female Authors is going to make it
-- yay! --

I would like to nominate a few authors :) and hope I may do so, in here ...

** Miranda July
have not read anything yet, strongly rec. from many bookish friends

** Hanya Yanagihara
A Little Life will be my upcoming buddy read, her earlier work appears to be really good, too

** Lisa Genova
my sister keeps recommending Still Alice to me, also own her latest work but have not read either

** Claire Fuller
Our Endless Numbered Days was strongly rec. to me

✍ Looking forward to all the nominations everybody will come up with :)

Rusalka (rusalkii) | 19219 comments Hehe indeed. Love the enthusiasm, but we never know what will happen in 5 days time ;)

Caecilia Saori ~ ah, ok! ~

Apologies ;) and yes, let's see which topic will make it.

message 6: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 18550 comments Yes enthusiasm (and recommendations) are always encouraged. Once the poll closes on the 15th, I'll set up a brand new thread so people can nominate just one book that they would like to put forward. Then those will be entered in to a poll for us all to vote on (only 5 books go in to the poll), then the top two books will be picked for us to read in March.

message 7: by Peggy (new)

Peggy (pebbles84) | 15868 comments And even if the book you nominated is not selected, you can still read it. There will be threads for the two chosen books, but also one thread to discuss other books fitting the theme, in case you're not so interested in the chosen books or want to read more than just one.

I've noticed a couple of your recent posts haven't had any content other than a couple of dots - wasn't sure if that was intentional or not. I know sometimes when using html or posting images, if you miss a / or a > or something, it sometimes doesn't display the content.

Caecilia Saori - sigh! -
no, it was not intentional. so sorry.

it had happened earlier, too, where I had links all nicely set up. going to: post. and, poof. all gone. - seems to be a goodreads bug, snief.

Lara | 1426 comments Well, I'll be happy with any of these themes.
