Megan I am looking for a book that was published in the 60s. It was an autobiography of a blind man. He may have been british. The same man wrote a fiction book about a boy with autism. One of the books had something in the title about angels. In the autobiography there is a scene where he gets off of a train on the wrong side (where there is no platform) and falls to the ground.

bookel | 2322 comments I think the below is what you are after.
The author is Robert Russell.
An act of loving is the fiction book. Google Books search inside matches autistic and autism.
The autobiography:
To Catch an Angel: Adventures in the World I Cannot See.
The sequel is: The island.
