The heroine was trying to get revenge on the hero's brother because she thought he had hurt her sister (embarrassed her or something). She was setting him up to be found naked in the church. The hero and his brother look a lot alike and she goes after the wrong brother. The hero is drunk/drugged and falls on her. She hits her head and they are both out until morning. Next morning, they are found in the church in a compromising situation and forced to wed.
