Trying to spoil my fun?
You're right. It's a beautiful quote.

That's it. We owe so much to Hans Christian Andersen.
I remember when the Disney animated movie was released. And every little girl was a mermaid for Halloween!

Congrats Catherine!

Congrats Catherine!"
Why did you whisper that...lol.

That one had me too...I was racking my brain for words...lop
A new puzzle has been posted. It's a short one this time.
Remember, your book must have been finished after this point.

Is there a D?

W, please?
Amber, there is 1 D. (I've never tried an Amish book. Do you have a favorite you would reccomend?)
There are 3 Ws, Denise.
There are 3 Ws, Denise.

To me, most of them are exactly like regular romance novels: rarely does one stand out as a specific favorite. The one exception was definitely The Forgiven by Marta Perry. It was so amazing. I still need to get around to reading the second book (it's part of a trilogy).

Congratulations, Denise. You got it. The Princess Bride is one of the best movies out there. One of these days I'll get around to reading the book.

I was checking out the thread, thinking about joining in, as I'm wanting a game to play and I don't work so well with Monopoly because I read so fast, but I saw your comment and wanted to pipe up on the Amish Question.
To expand on what Amber said, Amish romances are considered sweet romances, so no sex is involved. With the Amish, even very little kissing would be present! However, they are quite enjoyable reads! I highly recommend Amy Clipston's works, more specifically the Kauffman Amish Bakery series. Wanda Brunstetter is a staple in this sub-genre, but go for some of her older stories first, like Lydia's Charm. That one is a stand alone story and would be a good place to check her out. I've read a few Amish romances over the years, so feel free to check out my shelves for ideas!

Trea, you're more than welcome to join us. And thanks for information on Amish stories. I'll look into those authors.
