Denise S | 799 comments Is it

What you do, is hang men and get a kick out of it because your drawing is beautiful.

from Lanelle, Pemberton Manor Sketches

(I'm not drunk, just having a REALLY BAD DAY and it just came out.)

*grin* Although the 'quote' sounds great, it is not the one I've posted! And I let my husband know that you think his drawings are beautiful.

I hope your day gets better :)

VampAmber | 622 comments Wait, so we're not done yet? Then Resenting the Hero by Moira J. Moore (which I finished a few hours ago) still counts?

Is there an M?

Lanelle | 20952 comments Mod
Nope. The puzzle hasn't been solved, Amber. There is 1 M.

message 564: by VampAmber (new)

VampAmber | 622 comments Would anybody mind if I were to guess by semi-cheating (I just Googled what I thought was the answer and found the quote)? If everybody still wants to get more letters, I won't guess (cuz I hate when I think I've almost got the puzzle, I just need, like, one or two more letters).

20166 would be the VERY distant future. If I were going to transport you all to a different time, it would be the early 1800s :)

Penni, how many of Austen's books have you read? Have you seen the trailers for the new Love and Freindship movie starring Kate Beckinsale?

message 589: by Penni (new)

Penni | 996 comments I've read sense and sensibility but a long time ago. I didn't hear of the upcoming work. I'll have to check it out. This was a reread for me. Probably 25 or more years ago.

Ah! Not my husband then, but an old college friend that has since passed away. He used to quote it when we were in the cafeteria together with a group of our friends. It's what he would say when he won games of Magic: The Gathering card game. He always did have a flair for the dramatic!
