It doesn't matter which Lannister pays, either one will do. She believes Tyrion to be the bad guy when he's helping her a bit (even if it's for his own gain). So good! It was overwhelming. Some points of view I was expecting more out of though. Like I felt that Dany and Jon (view spoiler)[didn't have much happen to them for a huge portion of the book, since they were on a journey most of the time. (hide spoiler)] Tyrion's chapters were always intriguing and I have really grown to hate Theon with an undying passion. I WANT TO SEE HIM BURN. LOL JK. (but not really) He became my most hated character after Joffrey of course.

I am planning to read the third book in June if anyone is interested.

I sound sexist saying this...it's kind of ironic even. But it's always sad in many classics or books like this one that women think of love and put their emotion before anything else that's why men are more fit for battle. I think it was mentioned before here too. But yea, her lack of trust in Tyrion (which is stupid) is so great that she didn't believe that he would keep her bastard of a son safe. She's so deceitful that she can trust no one. Karma? I think yes. (hide spoiler)]

She was a child in the beginning and even though Cersei is a bad role model, Sansa strives to do the opposite of what Cersei does. Like how she says that if she were queen the people would love and not fear her.<.spoiler> (hide spoiler)]

I feel the same way. Granted I took a week extra, but it took me SIX months to read the first books. (work and life happened) and I think 3 weeks is a great achievement. I just need more now!

It is a pretty fast paced so far, about to start Chapter 13 (Arya II). Really like that Jaime's perspective has been added to the mix in this book. He's very interesting. So far, I am really enjoying it. I feel (view spoiler)[incredibly sorry for Tyrion. The poor guy can't catch a break (hide spoiler)]. Also, in Chapter 6 (Sansa I), when she (view spoiler)[ met Lady Olenna, man it was hilarious! She needs her own chapters. So feisty! (hide spoiler)]
I am planning to read maybe till chapter 16 or 17 today, since I'm going to the beach and I'll have a bit of time. :)

I really agree about your spoilers on Sansa and I think Jamie would be an intresting mix to the series as well. Also, I am on still on chapter 6 by the way.

Lady Olenna is one of my favorite side characters she is hilarious. I agree that she needs her own chapters, I would love to read from her perspective. :)

That was a wild ride from start to finish. I was going to say that the epilogue was boring until (view spoiler)[out pops Catelyn. As we know, no body doesn't always mean the person's dead. Maybe she did die and they brought her back? (hide spoiler)] I'm glad things went the way they did on The Wall. Also, I am not a supporter of Stannis. At all.

5/5 stars from me. Was the best book in the series for me so far.

P.S If we're reading the next book in July, could we hold it off for a while? I entered a reading slump in June (lots to catch up on) and I have to start and finish City of Heavenly Fire.
