Mandiann, I have to agree with you. I'm reading Visions In White, but I just am not into it!! And I don't think I will be. All for a cause though! Lol

I think, in part, it's just not our genre...leastwise not mine. I haven't given up yet, so I'm looking for redeeming qualities that's help me like it more. I mean this is a Nora Roberts book. I'm pretty sure I have 5-6 of her books at home on my bookcase, but I haven't read any yet. If my first experience doesn't end better, I'll probably give those books away and skip them.
Is there a schedule somewhere for when the movies will be posted each week? I saw Gisbelle's from earlier in this thread, but couldn't find anything more updated for the current challenge
Hannah wrote: "No. Only because they aren't the same gender."so does that mean that Charley( girl) would not work for Charlie(boy)?
Hannah wrote: "Those would work. Julia doesn't work for Julian because Julian is never called Julia for short."thank you :-)
Hi, I got a question. I found a sci-fi book called
that has New York as one of the places that the story include for the fictional book. By the way, I was wondering if I could read it, even if it doesn't include New York as the main setting in general for the whole entire book for week 2?
I have two questions about week three. Will lover work for love and can you use 'shelved as set in London' for setting even if the book does not take place in London?
Hannah, when is the very last day we can post the last points for this game?
3 of us are done with our last book so I can post the points anytime with just 3 if my 4th isn't here by the cut off date :)
I'm curious to see how our points panned out and which team scored the most :D
That's good to know. For week four (and possibly week three), not everyone participated in my team, and I wasn't sure if I should post the points without them, or just not bother.
I should get to it sometime today. I started off the year sick and now I'm trying to catch up on all my updating in this group.
Would the cover count since I see a spotch of sky in the cover but I wasn't sure if it was enough. And for character name, the character is deceased but they mention him quite a few times in this after I searched his name in the book. Would these points be acceptable?
Do we wait to start books until 2/1or can we start anything but only finish sometime after the start date?
Hannah, I went ahead and posted Lonely Hearts club post for our pointsand I added a book from another teammate to cover our loss of Gwen (so 2 books from one person)
please let me know if that's not okay and I can remove the points
thx! :)
Hannah, would Belle Epoque work for "beauty" in the title?
Belle translates to Beautiful or Beauty......
Ifthe game started on 4/1/16, does the book need to be started on 4/1 or can it be one that we started before hand and finish on 4/1
just wondering when the next sign-up is, I know it's way to late for April, but is there going to be a May game?
