Agreed! I guess I find it a little unrealistic to go on a "life changing" road trip during high school, in my opinion, because I wasn't legally able to drive on my own until the end of high school. And I didn't own a car until much later, that made it going anywhere far quite tricky!
This list definitely makes me step out of my comfort zone, no matter what age! Great point.

Oh, no! That must have been the worst but I can relate to having a bad dye job too. Eventually with trial and error, I started to understand the bare basics of dying hair.
I used to dye my hair all the time in high school, I'm a natural brunette, and I tried blond, different shapes of brown, red (my favourite for the longest time) and burgundy (and I'm sure I'm missing a couple of colours tbh).
I also couldn't relate to much on the "Nevers" list. I wouldn't say I was as distant to the entire student body, as Julia and Dave, but I wasn't completely involved during school either. I would say I was probably in the middle of the high school involvement spectrum (if that makes sense).
Thinking back to high school, do you think there was anything you would have liked to experience that you hadn't because of fear (or something else) or not?

Yeah, I've learned how to dye my hair. My favorite was when I was a red head. It made me pop in a good way. I'm a natural brunette and out of all the colors I've dyed my hair, red was the one that looked best on me. I also loved having chocolate brown hair!
I don't think I could have ever been like Dave and Julia in high school. I was more on the lower middle of the high school involvement spectrum. I wasn't big into the parties and stuff like that but I always made sure to get to school early, so I could hang with my friends. Each year of high school, I had a new lunch spot, which I stuck with each year. Though, my senior year had varied from three places.
I wish I had been more open to the high school expreince. I was a very shy girl and still am. It's sad, but I do better online talking to people than I do in person. I'm awkward around people and I know it has to do with being made fun of when I was a kid. So, if I could change anything from high school, I would've not cared as much about what others think and I definitely would've joined more clubs and be just a lot more open with the other students. The funny thing is that I work in my old school, in the library, which was one of my favorite places to be when I was still in school.

I totally agree! The one thing I would change would be the exact same thing. I would have wanted to be more open and take more chances during high school. I feel a lot of people wish the same thing, especially not being afraid of what other people thought of them too.
Who would have thought you would be back at your old high school working in the library! You must love working there.

I do and what book nerd doesn't love being in a library? Though, I can't stand some of the high school students but then again, they don't listen to me much since I'm only like 5 years older than them and I still look 18.

Student government wasn't my thing, I wasn't the type of student to be very involved with the school and I was mostly in for school when I had to be but at the first chance I got, I was out. But I was a type of student who had friends in many different groups and had my best friends as my core group. How I perceived myself was different than what I heard other people thought about me. If that makes sense.

That's cool. I had some friends in other clicks, so occasionally i would hear what some one would say about me. Although i don't think it happened that much i just really didn't care. I miss t that sell esteem. I was very confident and really did not pay attention to start people thought of me. I had more issues with that as an adult then i did as a teen.

That's interesting, I hadn't heard of that much. I didn't care either but nothing has really changed since. You shouldn't care what other people think of you still! As long as you're a good person, that's all that should matter, even if other people don't approve of anything. It's your life.

I never ran for president and I never had a recognized lunch table. Come to think of it, I didn't do many of the nevers during high school. I didn't have a hair colour found in the rainbow until after high school. And I never went on a "life changing" road trip during high school either. Do many teens go on "life changing" road trips anyways?
