Greetings LoP Authors!

To keep things fresh, there is a TWO WEEK limit when we will leave your post up to gather readers. Otherwise it gets cluttered and readers will stop checking the folder for books to review.

At YOUR discretion, the post will remain OPEN once it gets moved down here if you didn't gather 10 reviewers, so if people want to come searching in the ARCHIVE folder, we'll leave it between you and them whether or not you wish to still give additional copies away. If you wish to CLOSE your post please click 'edit' on your main topic post (the first one) and change your status to CLOSED.

Please do not move your post back up to the active folder or repost it. Your LoP mods are unpaid volunteers. Our 7,000+ avid paranormal fantasy readers have chosen to allow you access rather than charge you like NetGalley or other review services do. We do this not for YOU, but because some of our readers enjoy it. You have two weeks to catch potential new reader's eye, and then that's it. Please don't keep re-posting the same book for review or we'll have to terminate the program and/or block you.

It would be nice if you would move your OWN thread down on the 15th day and also inform your reviewers where the thread is now located? You can still post in your thread once you are down here (unless you mark it 'closed'). We just don't want it in the 'still gathering readers' folder.

Let's keep this nice and tidy so your LoP MODS can continue to make the informal R2R program available to y'all? If the main folder is cluttered up with 'dead' threads readers will become frustrated and stop checking, so let's self-manage and self-police. NetGalley charges you a $50 monthly subscription fee for this opportunity, while Kirkus charges almost $600, so let's keep our wonderful LoP readers happy by keeping it well managed. -K?

And remember ... keep it upbeat and polite! Most of the people who join this community are avid paranormal readers who are happy to help out. Don't get labelled a 'badly behaving author.' Don't take negative reviews personally, being an author requires a thick skin. I won't be policing reviews, not even snarky ones that make you cry (and I'm an author too, so I know how badly those negative reviews hurt). However, if a review crosses the line into outright abuse (i.e., the reviewer personally threatens you in some way) I can ban a person from this community.

Be epic!
