Authors for multiple editions of anthologies?

Having just got librarian privileges I set about fixing an anthology I'd recently read that had different book listings for every edition and a quite mangled author situation (which is done).

But now I'm confused in that each edition has a different set of authors, albeit now with the correct primary one. Do I have to manually add each author in the anthology for each edition?
