I was distracted!I was certain it was Crest but realized it probably wasn't him when they decided to confront him en mass.
Never thought of Bono - he did not seem like any sort of serious threat when we first encounter him at the club - but then I suppose that is the point, we weren't supposed to guess that he was a closet megalomaniac.
I suspected Crest for a long time - just popping up at the morgue after the other attendant had left. No one vouched for him there.Bono went straight past me.
Snap! Thought Crest and never thought Bono!
I didnt know who the upir was which kept me guessing, I was surprised when it was Bono. So Im with you all. I was distracted.
There was excellent misdirection in this one.
It really was. I love that in a book. I love being surprised.
I was also very surprised. I kind of wanted it to be Crest. But then of course I didn't really like him anyway. It shows that she excuse me they are a great writing team. When you read as many Mysteries as we tend to when an author can make red herrings be believable it's a sign of a great author.
