Alison (ali78) | 14 comments Thanks Diamond,Princess Nhya & Nomagugu we are very focus at the moment. I have struggled with my weight all my life, the first time I walked into a weight watchers class was when I was 12:( I have always lived by the scales and it is refreshing that my husband and I are going off how we feel rather then what we weigh.
Your support is a huge help :)

Advice please!!! So I see you do abs, and my upper abs are fantastic, but my lower abs are... there's much to be desired there. You wouldn't by chance know what I could do to fix that would you??

Have you tried Pelvic thrusts? The work that area you are talking about.

Alison (ali78) | 14 comments Do you do the plank Eli? I fine the plank strengths everything for core but trust me I have a long way to go but doing for seven weeks notice the difference already.

Also do sit up and raise your bum at the same time?

Leg raises also help the lower abs

Steven Walle (stevenwalle) I wake up early in the morning and do 100 sit ups/crunches, 100 push ups, and then have my morning coffee and breakfast. After breakfast I go for a 5 mile walk at a brisk pace. After supper in the evening I go for an other brisk 5 mile walk with my friend Loree and do some jumping on a trampoleen.
I know it is not a very rigorous ruteen but it is what I can commit to for now.

Thank you. It is a good start anyway. My brother is an exercise instructor and he is going to help me get a good ruteen going in the weight room.

I am so glad we are a help to you. Remember to keep your eyes on the successes and not the failures. Keep your mind focused in a possative light and make it fun. I'm sure it is helpful to have someone to be on the same ruteen as yourself. Be Blessed my friend.

Yes, I agree, Diamond is doing very well. I have started doing some light exercices in the morning before my coffee and it actually 'vitalize' my day !!! it is not a big deal doing it and it works. And I can take a cold shower as well when I wake up (during the summer .. in winter, it is more difficult :). I found very good tips in this book : "the seeker of well-being" (Indrajit Garai). I keep reading some passages from time to time .....
For example, it says "The key to steady recovery is regularity. When you do your tasks regularly, with awareness of your evolution, you don't fall into monotony. The same exercice shows you something different about you each time; and the same path reveals something different about the world, each time you walk upon."
