4. How do you think you would know if you had a vocation to the religious life, that is, a calling from God to become a priest or a nun? Would it be a sign from God if you felt attracted to it? Would it be a sign if you felt repelled and frightened by it? Would it be a sign if the thought kept coming into your mind? Do you think everyone should consider the possibility of religious life or the priesthood, or is such a calling very rare in our day and age?

I had the call at the age of 7 i think. When everybody asked me what you want to be i would say priest.I had a strong desire to be a priest back then but after several years as i grew up i thought it was just a crazy idea which just popped up in my kiddy mind...later as i graduated school i happen to meet several persons who had several gifts of spirit and they began to prophasise that i would become a priest.I just laughed at them but as months passed by everything God revealed through them came true.

I don't think the call is any rarer today than it was in the past. It's just harder to pickout the sound of God's voice and see His beckoning hand among all the loud and bright distractions of the modern world.
