Hey, Simon, I hope I will not come across as Ms Creepy McCreeperson, but based on what little we can know of you by your participation in this forum, well you seem to be pretty cool and I am sure teenage me would have liked to meet you as an ally back in my lonely, Lisa Simpson-esque days at high school, haha. :D <3
Yup, what Kodak said. Boy, am I excited to reach 100k members too!

Thank you so much for responding, I felt so lonely here :) and I can't be anything else but enthousiastic about reaching this milestone!
Indeed, we talked about it and I heard about the plans, but I thought it maybe is a good idea to let the other users also think about some things we could do? :) I also think we can, as always, trust on Emma haha!

Hahaha thanks!
Its always nice to hear something like that :D
It's a pleasure to help and to show some love and participation to other people in the world and this is one of the best ways to do it!
And no worries, you'll hardly come over as someone creepy by giving a compliment!
Thanks,
-Simon

It really is so much fun to be part of this, by now, huge community even though I for myself are one of the more passive member and read more than write, but still I have learned so much in these past few weeks about feminism and what comes along with it that I am really looking foward to what will come in the future!
Thanks espacially to all of the mods for their great work they are doing so far. And of course to Ms. Watson for launching this great Book Club!

I second all that you have said Marc! This group has truly become an amazing community!

I hope the edit made it more clearer what I mean. Sorry for this mistake.

And do you mean that we can also buy the book in some kind or shop or are you Talking about a unique book?
Also thank you for your comment so far,
like I said, it makes me so happy to see people from this awesome community reply :)

I thought of a unique book, but if they choose to publish a Special Edition with the Signatures it'll be a great pleasure for me to buy it.
Apart from this how would it to start a competition in the US (because the Entry regulations and travel expenses ) and the winner will be invited to the UN to make a movie about the work they do there ( I haven't the slightest idea what they do the whole day) . Show the offices and ask some question, something like that.

That would mean 100,000 autographs! :-o my arm hurts just thinking about that! If I signed my name that many times I would be sat in a padded cell, rocking back and forth, twitching and saying my name on repeat in a whisper to the doctors in white coats. :-)

Nah, no biggie there! :D Don't worry, Janos. :)

It wasn't rude :-)
It was quite a fun suggestion though!

Just wondering if it's possible to do... Like Jo says, 100 thousand times putting your autograph...
We can still propose it tho

Awesome we made it (in just one month :o)
it's a huge milestone and it should be celebrated! :D

I'm sure Emma is going to make a post about it herself, but
I wanted to make this post so we can already start thinking about what we could do to celebrate the 100 thousand members in OSS. It's pretty amazing to be part of the biggest book club here on Goodreads and of this huge community isn't it?
Just think about seeing all the people in this group in one big room, can you imagine that?! :D
So, if you guys have any ideas to celebrate it, leave it behind and maybe the mods will like it and we can make some reality, who knows. I also want to thank Emma, the amazing moderators who kept the group fun so far and of course you guys, because of this group my life changed for a huge part and I can't thank you more!

Btw, if Emma is creating her own post and this post is unnecessary, I'll try to delete it as soon as possible! ;)
