Could it be The Baby Lottery by Kathryn Trueblood?

Thank you for your suggestions. But, in The Baby Lottery, the women were all friends in college. In the book I'm looking for, the women were not friends. In fact the woman who offered to be the surrogate was a total stranger.
Following, this story rings a bell to me, but it isn't one that I've read... I was thinking it could be the baby lottery actually, but I'll rack my brain and see if the answer comes to me.

It's about 5 women from very different walks of life, their dysfunctional family backgrounds, and how they all are linked to each other through the birth of a baby. In the story, an older gentleman's wife runs off with her yoga instructor, so he remarries, but marries a much younger woman who wants to have a baby. The man's grown daughter is opposed to the marriage and definitely to the idea of him having a baby (with a woman who can't conceive). A poor farm woman with many children decides the only way to get money to feed her family is to rent out her body and be a surrogate to this couple. There is a woman in the story who lives above her means to catch a rich husband. Oh and each of the chapters is titled with one of the women's names, telling that woman's perspective/life story.
It sounds like a book I would love to read. I just wish she could remember the title. She said the cover is white with embossed blue metallic lettering. A woman is standing facing a floor to ceiling window, in a green plaid skirt with gold/mustard blouse. Hope that helps.
