do they all need to be at the bottom or can they be spread throughout the post? and how do we link them? they're not showing up as links for me (but i probably have this whole thing wrong since i'm still new to goodreads haha)

ah, never mind about the links, i think i get how it works now. also do we need to comment here with all our tags, or will they be automatically sorted? (sorry for all the questions - i'm a noob LOL)
Is there anyway to have tags for #MG #kidslit #childrens or even #PB ? There's nothing there for those. Thanks :)

I'll make a list of tag requests. To be fair, I think we need at least three authors requesting a category before we add it.

Since there was no good category for children's books, I went ahead and added support for #Children.
I added the rest to the list in the Q&A post, and if enough other authors request them I'll add them.

Ok, just tagged fantasy in mine so it will hopefully update at some point. Should the tag be in only one thread in my booth or any/all of them?

You just need one #Fantasy tag anywhere in your "booth." The tag is for what Goodreads calls a "topic" (which we're calling a booth) not for what Goodreads calls a "comment" within a topic.
Okay, I don't think I'm getting this. When I add a tag to the post in my booth, it's not showing up once the post is saved. Is it supposed to show up? I was trying to add the map and a few #.

How'd you get the map to be a link? I tried " with closing but it didn't work.
And how do I get my book covers to show up like you did? Mine are simply hyperlinks.

Only after I update the pages. There's a date/time on the bottom of each page, so you know any changes you made after that won't be showing up.

When you're writing a Goodreads comment, there's text on the top-right that says "(some html is ok)." Click that and it'll show you how to do links and images. Your book cover images will need to be already online somewhere else, though, since Goodreads doesn't let you upload them.
I finally got my booth started! Here's my tags added at the bottom of my first post (I have 2 different series): #Historical #ScienceFiction #YA #Fantasy

The hyperlinks use HTML. You can click the (some html is ok) link at the top-right when you're writing a comment to see what Goodreads allow.

More than one person has requested it, so I'll try to add it. Are you sure you want #MG though? I think it might be more effective as #MiddleGrade (with the displayed text as Middle Grade).
My book is also dystopian. Is there a tag for that on the map. Sorry I'm so late on this but my wife's been in and out of the hospital and she usually handles all the marketing and tech stuff. Thanks

Hi, I changed the title of my booth to reflect the women's fiction genre, but it's not showing up on the map.

Changes don't appear until I send out my army of minion fairies to look at the booths and draw up new web pages based on what they see. I just did so, and now the map has your booth correctly categorized.

No #dystopian yet, but if a few other people also ask for it, then I'll add it. (Adding #tags dramatically increases the work that my army of minion fairies has to do in order to update the map, so I am trying to avoid adding too many).

I finally have my booth up and tagged it with #Romance but I did add #Paranormal and #Erotica. I didn't see them and didn't know if you were using them but at least I put the #Romance in my post. Thanks!

We have a request list so if a few other authors ask for those tags, I'll add support for them and yours will be picked up at that time. (I'm trying to avoid having #tags with only one or two booths under them).

You need to remove the #NoMap tag first - that one excludes your booth from the map.
BTW, I have no idea why Goodreads isn't letting you message me!

I removed the tag. Sorry. For some reason I thought we were supposed to use that to indicate that we weren't on the map yet.
