SOLVED. Fiction, Rhodesian expat living in Oz, returns to Zim for inheritance [s]

I am very vague about what I remember, and I think the guy lives in Australia, and has to go back to Zimbabwe to 'collect' (?) his inheritance.
I thought a book I loved was called 'Letifah's Gift' by Graham ? (I think... It involved an expat going back to Zim after his (?) mothers death, and something about the legacy to the house keeper.. Anybody know which one this could be, as I was hoping to see if the author had written something new.
I have read this a few years ago.
