SOLVED. Book about drunk teacher who dies from Carbon Monoxide in a snow storm [s]

I think it was told in multiple points of view and I probably read it around 2011. The one I'm remembering was the young female teacher. She moves to the town and starts drinking all the time, shows up hungover to teach. In the end, she is driving home and it's a big storm. She pulls over and leaves her car running and ends up dying because of the carbon monoxide.

What genre is it? Set in the U.S.?

Yes set in US. And I'm not sure on genre,but was fiction. I think I may have read it for book club. I know it dealt with life in the town, and focused on multiple characters. The only thing that stands out to me right now is the girl getting stuck in the snow and deciding to sleep it off with her car running to stay warm.

I think she may have been stuck on a bridge or in a snow bank.
