However, Goodreads is more of a website for discussing already completed novels or inviting readers to read your already COMPLETED work. The keyword is complete, finished, published, available for purchase, can be read from start to end.
If you want to garner ideas and feedback, then you should go to a forum that is specifically for writer's. You can start at these following websites:
https://writeon.amazon.com/?ref_=pe_1...
https://www.wattpad.com/home
Good luck.
I beg to differ, Wilmar. Goodreads - well, at least THIS GROUP on goodreads, really shouldn't be used as a vehicle to ask people to read your completed works, either. It's a place meant to foster conversations between readers about the books they want to read, have read, and are reading.
Goodreads has a pretty strong no-author-spam policy.
I'd be very careful about engaging in soliciting both.
Also, please familiarize yourself with the group rules, TJ. We make it clear that we do not recommend joining this group and immediately posting self-promotional content. As I know you are aware, there was a pop-up box when you created this thread that informed you of that very rule. As well as including it in the group description and creating a folder specifically for group rules.
Thanks,
