(view spoiler)[ I feel so sad for Gisa. Hopefully her hand will heal and she can sew again. I wonder if the whisper from the feats will pop up latrr in the book. I feel like he was of some importance. I can't believe that Shade is a part of the Red Rising. I mean I understand why he would do it, but if the silvers ever find out they might punish his family for it. I wonder who that guy was outside the bar that Mare tried to pickpocket. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ If I was in Mare's situation then I would be a little bit more angry than she appears to be. At least Maven seems like a decent guy. But I wonder why she has powers, though? Since she does, does that mean that there might be other Reds that do too? (hide spoiler)]

I finished it the other day but I forgot to post. I really liked it. :)
I'll still discuss it with you guys as you read it. It was really good, I can't wait until I read the second book.

I'm halfway through the book, at page 202! I love it so far!! The only thing I had a problem with is:

(view spoiler)[ I don't exactly remember when this was, but after Mare's identity was changed, a Red maid came into her room and Mare acted all superior, like she was really a Silver. I think I would've enjoyed it more if Mare did not let go of her Red identity as quickly as she did. In the beginning, her character was portrayed as stubborn and fierce but when she learned that she was going to switch identities and become a Silver princess, she didn't put up that much of a fight and she accepted it too quickly. I liked her character better towards the beginning, but I still like her! So excited for the rest of the book... I'm starting to think she's going to meet a Red that has powers like her... (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 13 (view spoiler)[ Really enjoying this, a little predictable but good. I love the interesting powers. I like Julian, not sure why but I have a feeling something bad will happen to him. I wonder how she will end up with Cal, if she is to be queen, (just going by title of the book) I quit like Maven, but so far, other than a littel resentment form Maven, there characters are interchangable.
