Nynaeve ... Argh!

I ended up loving Nynaeve! And I didn't like the way Egwene dealt with her later on.

@ One - well read the rest of the books and comment then. Nynaeve undergoes a lot of character development.

@ Brolie - well yes, I absolutely loathed Faile. Nynaeve however showed a lot of maturity and growth later on.

I must agree with Sindy's post. Nynaeve was truly one of my favourite characters in the end.

How could I have forgotten Egwene! Absolutely hated her from the 3rd book and it only became worse.

The title of your post says a lot. Nynaeve is endearing, enfuriating, lovable, hateable, tiresome .... all at the same time.
It never get's tiring to read about her though, just the braid pulling .... grrrr, by book 7 or 8 you hope that somewhere along the way they cut off her hair. Whether that actually happens... you'll have to read on to find out :-).

I've only read 'The Eye of the World' and I couldn't stand Nynaeve. Her sole feature in the book was to pointlessly criticize others and complain.

It gets better!

I've read all the books and the only character who I hated more than Nynaeve, was Faile...

But that was the point. To prove that use of the one power creates arrogance. Therefore everyone who had the one power must be made arrogant.

I definitely liked Nynaeve better as time went on. She certainly becomes one of the least infuriating Aes Sedai. When she goes around recruiting Malkieri, it brought tears to my eyes.

Nynaeve - loved. She really does develop into somebody that is considerate and charming ( though slightly annoying). what she says at the end of her Aes Sedia test ( Though I cant remember the exact words at this moment) proved just how much she was meant to be a queen. There is no one better that could rebuild Malkeiri

Faile - okay.

Egwene - loath and dispise.
