The Garfield book isn't out yet -- that is what probably caused the confusion. I'm getting an advance copy to review. I think it's slated for publication in September, and then it should hit Goodreads.

This is the book I meant: Murdering the President: Alexander Graham Bell and the Race to Save James Garfield.I think the argument is that the physician did not follow the standard of care with respect to hygiene, although the standard was evolving at the time. I haven't read it yet, so I can't answer the murder or manslaughter argument.
Hi Koren! Rosen's book -- the one I'm referring to -- doesn't have any reviews because it hasn't come out yet. Here's the link. Murdering the President: Alexander Graham Bell and the Race to Save James Garfield
Playing Dead: A Journey Through the World of Death Fraud is now #125 on the TC shelf called "Forgery, Fraud and Finagling."
The Dragon Behind the Glass: A True Story of Power, Obsession, and the World’s Most Coveted Fish is apparently a true tale of piscatorial murder! Gotta see that...
Paralyzing Summer: The True Story of the Ann Arbor V.A. Hospital Poisonings and Deaths is, I hope, going to be far more satisfactory than the instant paperback pushed onto the racks as the story was still unfolding, The Mysterious Deaths at Ann Arbor. It looked good when I read some at random. It hit the newsstands in a handsome trade-paperback form in August of this year.
I released four true crime books in 2016. They are below. Have a great day :-)
-Chris
Monster: The True Story of Serial Killer Peter Kurten (Homicide True Crime Cases)
The Beast of Birkenshaw: The True Story of Serial Killer Peter Manuel
The Clairemont Killer: The True Story of Serial Killer Cleophus Prince, Jr.
SERIAL KILLERS: True Crime

I was pleasantly surprised to find this one in the library yesterday: My Sweet Angel: The True Story of Lacey Spears, the Seemingly Perfect Mother Who Murdered Her Son in Cold Blood by John Glatt.
I was surprised because our library has precious few true crime books.

If your name is Lacey, you should never have children. That's my advice.

But then there's Lacey Peterson who was a victim.

That's what I'm saying. Kill or be killed, it's VERY unlucky to get pregnant if your name is Lacey.
