Aurelia's Welcome Packet

Aurelia Maria Casey is busting her brain building a Welcome Packet, but she has taken it a step further. In addition to making the packet available via PDF, she is also formatting the book and uploading it to Kindle for free so you can download it to your eReader. She will also be creaing an ePub version for Nook lovers.

Obviously, you start with the 5min stuff and then you pick and choose the rest of it as you have time and energy. The more work you put into this, the better the event will be for you because you will be making strong professional connections with the people in your town who can help you launch your next book as well as with people around the world who will want to help you promote your next book online.

When the packet is done, you'll be able to download the book directly from my site.

The book will be in .mobi .epub and .pdf versions.

You can download the Author's Super Simple Guide to Participation in PDF, MOBI, and EPUB formats here. (Note: you'll be able to find it on most of the ebook retailers for free but it may take a few days for Amazon to price-match.)

There is also a packet with printable flyers, jpgs, and csv files which are complementary to the guide to help you spread word about the convention as easily as possible.

Hi Batman Fairy Godmother :-)
Just went to the site and got the PDF (thank you so much) but when I went to download the flyers bundle, my McAfee lost its mind. It put up the red flag for spyware, viruses and maybe even a spot of bubonic plague. Of course I downloaded anyway and just did a scan of the folder and it was clean.
So I'm announcing to everyone...if your anti-virus goes nuts, it's ok. The packet is clean! The angry spirits are gone!
