Is there anything else you think we need to sort out?

also because it could add to the plot somehow like throws and jumps are super hard so maybe at the first competition they really screw up or something idk

so it gives me the options of michelle trachtenburg in ice princess
hayden panettiere in ice princess (though there are no actual gifs)
and like holland roden from like one episode of teen wolf
but I'm also trying to keep age in mind so like holland would be too old
maybe I need to stop being so picky but like
idek
I'm fine with Dylan O'Brien if that's who you wanna use though

Alexander was at a local rink with his hockey team practicing for the next game. Alex was just going through the motions pass, receive, score. He was one of the best players on the team but, hockey just wasn't exciting for him like it was for the other members of the team. He only did it because he didn't want his father to be mad at him and he didn't want the whole school making fun of him especially if they found out about his other hobby...
Finally practice was over and Alexander quickly undressed from his hockey gear and said his goodbyes. Several of the guys invited him to hang out but he declined saying that he had homework to catch up with. Instead of heading to his house he headed to a private pond that he had found a couple months ago after the first heavy snowfall.
As soon as Alexander arrived at the pond his shoulders lifted and he smiled contently. There was a small but sturdy bench near the pond. Alex sat down on it and just breathed in the scent of the trees and the outdoors.
After a moment he quickly put on his skates knowing that he only had a limited amount of time to actually skate. First he started by just doing a couple laps around the pond getting used to the feel of his skates which were slightly different than his hockey ones. Then he did some simple turns and jumps and then he did the more complicated turns and spins. You could tell he was truly enjoying himself to his smile was one of pure joy and his shout of happiness every time he got a more difficult move just right was pretty great to see.
((Yay look I was a smart person and saved my post somewhere else go me! Also my posts aren't always gonna be this long))

((that's awesome haha I hate when goodreads deletes stuff))
Charlie really didn't have the heart to be at the rink. It had been a week since her partner, David, had moved across the country, and she was still no closer to finding a replacement. She couldn't stand the pitying looks of the other skaters, or the countless times people were asking her why she didn't just go back to solo skating.
But even if she wasn't going to the rink, she couldn't let herself get out of practice because she didn't have a partner. She'd find someone eventually, and she needed to be in shape for when she did. So here Charlie was, at a pond.
She sat on the bench and focused on tying the laces of her skates, her gloves causing her to drop the laces a few times, and making it take a bit longer than usual. Finally she succeeded in tying the white skates up and removed the rubber guards.
As she stepped on to the frozen pond, she looked up for the first time and noticed someone else skating there, figure skating there, going through more and more difficult motions.
She couldn't contain her excitement. She didn't know this person, which meant he wasn't a pairs skater (or likely even at her rink), though he was definitely good enough for both. "Hey!" She called out as she skated over, a giant grin on her face. "Your skating is really good--oh and I'm Charlie." She was able to contain herself enough to keep from blurting out the whole story about David moving away and asking this guy to be her partner--for the time being, anyways.

Alex was enjoying himself skating all over the place, freely doing turns and jumps in whatever order than he wanted to. Sometimes he'd try to choreograph his skating to small pieces of music but today was just a day to skate. He was in the middle of a particularly hard jump he heard a voice. This surprised him and he came out of the turn wrong, which made him land wrong, which then made him fall on his butt. If he was competing he would've gotten back up straight away and finished his routine but, he wasn't at a competition and so he allowed himself a few seconds to process what she just told him, he finally stood up "Um thanks" he said taking off his gloves to shake off the bit of snow that had gotten stuck. "I'm Alex." He said over to where Charlie was standing "So um were you planning to skate? Cause if you were I can just leave, I don't want to bother you or anything." He said putting his gloves back on before his fingers got to cold.

"Well I was planning to skate, but you don't have to leave, you won't bother me. I'm sorry to bother you, actually." She was babbling a bit, she realized. But she didn't really know how to phrase anything...how exactly had she planned to ask this person to be her partner? She didn't know Alex, didn't know if he was even interested in pairs skating. "I actually wanted to maybe ask you something?" She continued on then without stopping, perhaps maybe a bit too quickly, as her excitement had turned to nervousness and she realized how stupid or weird she might sound. "I'm actually a pairs skater, at the rink over on 6th street. My partner recently moved away and I haven't had any luck finding someone new, so I came here to practice because being at the rink is kind of depressing right now. And you're clearly good enough to skate pairs, I think, so I was wondering if you might be interested? I have an important competition coming up in a few months and if I can't find anyone, which I haven't, my figure skating career is probably pretty much over." Now she was silent, and fidgeted with her pink gloves, hoping he would say yes.

Muse A is a figure skater who's finally starting to get the moves down s/he is as graceful as a swan if only the school would see how talented s/he is, all they see is a shy silent who doesn't talk to anyone which is because s/he's going through the moves in her head all day and doesn't have time for socializing. s/he has recently lost his/her partner who had to move out of the state/country. A tournament/competition (I don't know much about figure skating tbh) is coming up in a few months and s/he is desperately seeking a partner.
Muse B is a hockey player who grew up figure skating. He turned to hockey because of an incident in middle school. He loves to figure skate and is pretty damn good at it but is afraid to do it because of what his peers will say.
Muse A and B meet at a local frozen Muse B is doing some figure skating and this is the only place where Muse B can practice in peace. Muse A happens to see Muse B figure skating and immediately asks him if he'll be his/her partner. After lots of persuading Muse B agrees. Will they succeed and shine or with they fail and crash on the ice?
