So this one?

20.*** is important, rich and in the media spotlight. She was born into the fame and the wealth but it wasn't until a couple of disturbing letters that she realised just how dangerous it was. So her father hires her a bodyguard but can he stay professional being around *** constantly.

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Yes that's it! Thanks for making the thread!

Awesome ^.^ So, do you want to make characters?

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Sure, and I'm the guy right?

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

Yup that's it :)

Anything in particular that you want to add into the characters?

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments I usually do name, age, appearance, personality, and sometimes a history. Is that good?

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah that's perfect ^.^

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Okay I'll put my up in a few minutes!

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Name: Kaiden Joseph Knight
Age: 22 (is that the age range?)
Appearance:

Personality: Serious, kind, introverted, not trusting, can be very funny when he knows someone well.
History: He has been training in martial arts and many other sports that require self defense and strength since he was young and has known that he has wanted to go into protecting people whether it be a police officer, firefighter, or body guard. He thought that the job would be better but he has only been with rich/wealthy families who sometimes treated him like he was poor or inferior which he doesn't like.

Name: Sloane Victoria Davenport

Age: 20

Appearance:

https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/phot...

Personality:
Closed off, sarcastic, honest to the point of brutality, quite intolerant, social, nosy, quite a party girl, hardworking and gets addicted easily.

History:
Sloane grew up hardly being around her parents as her mother worked up to her positions as state attorney and her father worked 24/7 in his billion dollar company. She started rebelling early on, getting addicted to things that a young teenager really shouldn't be but she managed to kick most of those addictions just after she turned eighteen. Her parents, while absent most of the time, are still worried that she'll go back to old habits. She's in college studying business and is used to being on page six thanks to the social standing of her parents, the wealth they held and her tendency for getting caught doing things she shouldn't.

(Yeah, that age's perfect.)

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Cool! Ready to start?

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah ^.^ Would you mind starting?

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Sure! I'll have it up in a few minutes

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Kaiden pulled up to the large mansion where his next charge would be. He got through the gate and carried his back of some clothes that he would need until the rest of his necessities were sent to where he would now be staying with his charge. The wide doors opened by the butler and he smiled and thanked him. Kaiden had already memorized the lay out of the house so he knew where his new charge would be since her parents weren't there to meet and introduce them. He pushed in the door to the sitting room where he saw his charge waiting.

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

((Sorry, I fell asleep.))

After hours of arguing, Sloane reluctantly sat in the sitting room, her legs crossed and her mouth set in a hard frown. Her parents had insisted on her getting a bodyguard despite the amount of times she told them it was completely unnecessary. They were a couple of creepy stalker letters, nothing more and nothing serious. Her foot bounced impatiently as she waited for this bodyguard to arrive, her arms crossed tightly under her chest and her long, blonde hair swept over her shoulders. When he walked inside, she looked up and didn't try to hide her surprise when she saw him. She'd expected old and overly muscular but he was young and hot, definitely not what she was expecting. "Sloane Davenport," she introduced with a tight lipped smile. "And you're Aiden, right?" She asked, purposely getting his name wrong just to see his reaction.

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments ((No problem! (: ))

Kaiden gently closed the door behind him maintaing eye contact with the young and beautiful girl. He took slow but long steps to her and sat down in the chair in front of her. He sat on the edge of the chair with his hands flat on his thighs. Kaiden said, "Kaiden Knight, Miss Davenport. Its nice to finally meet you." He knew what she was trying to do and wouldn't give her the satisfaction of reaction. On the inside, he sighed and regretted his job choice for a second but pushed it down. He couldn't think that if he was going to work correctly and the way he had to.

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

Sloane's lips twitched up into a fleeting smile as she leaned back where she was sitting. She could tell he didn't give any reaction on purpose. He seemed quite proper and she found it extremely boring. He was probably the kind of person that would warn her against drinking under age and give reports about her progress to her parents when she'd been an adult for two years already. She crossed her legs, adjusting her dress and keeping her inquisitive eyes on Kaiden. "I can't say the same. It wasn't my decision to hire you. It was my parents' insistence. Honestly, you could chill here, tell my parents I'm safe, get your generous pay check and avoid working. There's absolutely no reason why you should be here," she informed him, not sugar coating her words.

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments "I beg to differ. I've read the reports and know that you got some letters and I understand the precaution," Kaiden said before adding, "but I'm not the bad guy. I'm keeping them out. I'm going to do my job and you're just going to have to deal with it since I'm not leaving until you're safe." He stayed sitting up, a habit that he had developed, and watched her. Kaiden smiled hoping to annoy her this time since she didn't want to be watched over or as she probably saw it "babysat". He would ignore her attitude and just deal with it since it was now his job.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

Sloane clenched her jaw and rolled her eyes, not bothering to try and hide it from Kaiden. He was an over paid babysitter and she was almost offended that her parents believed that she needed him. "I go around every day completely safe. They're letters. They're not going to do any harm. Besides, it's not like you want to be here, right?" she questioned, tipping her head to the other side as her eyes ran over him again. She highly doubted that he actually wanted to be there. She imagined that it was a pain to be a bodyguard for rich, snot nosed brats. She hung around them every day, she saw herself every day. She knew exactly how annoying it would be.

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments "Well, there is a first for everything so someday, you might not be so lucky. Honestly, no, its not my dream job to watch bratty teenagers who don't want me to do it and protect them," Kaiden said raising an eyebrow so she understood that he was talking about her, "but I do it anyway because I like it and someone has to keep people from hurting or killing other people, like yourself." He had other reasons, but they were too personal to mention so he didn't bring them up to her.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

She smiled sarcastically at him when he raised an eyebrow at her. She knew that he meant for her to know that he was talking about her and she didn't appreciate it. "Thanks. I always do love being referred to as a teenager," she replied sarcastically, uncrossing and recrossing her legs the opposite way, fixing the bottom of her dress again. She had been planning on going out that day but his arrival messed it all up. With a sigh, she pushed herself up off the chair and crossed her arms. "Well I'm supposed to show you around," she informed him, glancing around the room before looking back at him.

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Kaiden shrugged and didn't change or attempt to fix what he had said because he meant her maturity level, and others that he has watched. He stood up when she did and nodded. "Sure. I have already memorized the layout of the house but it would be good to see in person," he said. He went over to the door and opened the door for her so she could go out first and lead the way.

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

"That's not creepy," she muttered to herself as she brushed her hair over her shoulder. She supposed that she was quite lucky to have him as a bodyguard though. If she was going to have a babysitter, at least he was handsome. As she walked out into the hall and towards the kitchen she looked back at him to see if he was following. "You know, your got the perfect job for a stalker. Think about it. The stalker guy gets obsessive, send a few letters to get the girl paranoid and make her hire a bodyguard. Then he's there for her to hire and he literally gets paid to watch her. It's actually quite a smart plan. Not that I'm saying you're the person who sent the letters," she mused, correcting herself quickly when she realised that her words could be taken the wrong way.

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Kaiden smiled and chuckled a little hearing what she said. He followed her out and looked around at the ornate and large house. It was a good place to live but he had never lived somewhere that large by himself or not for a job and he often wondered if he would like it or not. He titled his head to the side listening to what she was saying and nodded. "Well, you don't have to worry about that with me," he said smiling, "but I know what you mean. I don't know if they would plan that far ahead since they would to obsessed to think like that. Let's just know, that there shouldn't be any more worries since I'm here." He wasn't being arrogant but he was confident in his abilities and training.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

Sloane nodded slightly as she listened to him, her lips tilting into a small smirk at the arrogant tone he seemed to take. She understood that though, it made sense that he would need to be confident in his abilities. Anything less would mean he wouldn't get hired or he would make a mistake in doubting himself while on the job. "I'd totally do that if I was stalking someone. It'd be a good way to get close to them. At least it's creative. Threatening letters are so cliched," Sloane told him, mostly speaking to herself but she liked to talk. Tilting her head to the side, she raised her eyebrows at him. "Do you want to go upstairs or downstairs first? I know you know where everything is but what do you want to see first? Bearing in mind that I have to be gone in two hours max," she asked him, straightening up, her hand playing with the hem of her dress.

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Kaiden asked simply, "Well, it worked to get you more protection, didn't it? Its a good way to point out that there might be a future issue." He looked around and shrugged. "Where do you live mainly? I should know that area better than the others if I had to," he said looking back at her. Where are you going?" he asked furrowing his eyebrows. He had known she was going out and he didn't think that he would be on the job so soon. But better now than later he sighed to himself on the inside. His eyes glanced down at where her hands were but he quickly moved his gaze away from her legs.

message 27: by [deleted user] (last edited Jan 27, 2016 03:03PM) (new)

Sloane nodded slowly, liking what he was saying. While she was probably supposed to be more scared about it, she found the entire situation quite fascinating. She would never tell anyone that however, they'd look at her like she was crazy. "Downstairs then," she decided, walking away from him again and expecting him to follow. Her heels clicked against the marble floors as she made her way over to the staircase that curved down to the bottom floor. With one foot on the steps, she turned to look at him over her shoulder, her eyes hard and curious as she inspected him. "I don't think I want to tell you yet," she replied before turning back and heading downstairs. Flicking on the lights, she slid the doors open and looked over the permanently heated pool and the hot tub next to it, the dim lights casting a warm glow. There was comfortable looking deck chairs lining the sides of the pool. There was two changing rooms off to the side, each with their own sets of showers and a supply of fresh towels. "If I'm not in my room, I'm usually down here," she told him, a smile curving one side of her lips.

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Kaiden turned and followed her toward the stairs. He did follow her though a little relunctantly since she just assumed he'd follow her wherever she goes. That's part of the job he reminded himself as he walked behind her. He made sure nothing was showing on his face when she looked back at him. He raised an eyebrow at her response and sighed loudly. "I'm going to find out anyway, just tell me now," he said slightly more annoyed now. His eyes then widened seeing the pool and hot tub. "Woah," he muttered nodding appreciatively. He did like to swim so he could enjoy a pool like that if he would ever be able to swim in it. "So, you like to swim?" he asked tearing his gaze away from the pool.

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

Sloane rolled her eyes when she heard him sigh, the annoyance clear in his voice. "Well I could tell you but there's a chance that you would say something to someone and since I don't know you and I don't trust you with things like that, I'm not telling you. At least right now," she replied, a hint of annoyance seeping into her tone as well. Nodding in reply, she let her eyes sweep over the pool again before looking at Kaiden. "Oh yeah, I love to swim. One of the most relaxing things ever. The temperature's adjustable too. I prefer it warm but I know some people like it cold and you can change it. But yeah, I'm usually here when I'm at home," she answered with a shrug, giving him another moment to look it over before she started to head upstairs again.

message 30: by ☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ (last edited Jan 28, 2016 04:28PM) (new)

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Kaiden tried to calm himself not liking to show his emotions like that, especially at work. "Okay, just know I'm going to have to come with you," he said. He looked down at her when she was talking about the pool and he remembered the information that she liked it hear. Then he followed her back out. "Where are we going now?" he asked climbing the stair case again. Kaiden thought about how many stair cases there must be in the house that he would have to climb and he winced to himself even though they weren't hard for him. Stair cases always seemed worse than just running or exercising.

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

Sloane looked back at him with a raised eyebrow, her signature condescending look in her eyes even though she wasn't even trying to give him a look. "Well obviously. Why would you be paid if you're not following me around?" she asked rhetorically, continuing back up the stairs. When she reached the top, she tilted her head to the side, her fingers absently fiddling with the hem of her dress. "You wanna see the gallery?" she asked but didn't wait for his answer. "Let's go to the gallery," she decided, turning and walking through a couple of corridors before she reached a solid door. Quickly typing in the code into the keypad next to it, she waited till the light turned green to try and open the door. "My mom's really into art so she gets a few art consultants to buy her paintings. This rooms worth a good few million but not many people know it's here. They're all bought anonymously just in case," she told him, her eyes scanning the huge room with paintings hung up all around. "We have paintings throughout the house too but these are the really expensive ones."

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Kiaden didn't respond to her question knowing that it was rhetorical as well as condescending. He followed her out and had opened his mouth to say something but was cut off when she talked again. Apparently she doesn't like to hear what other people have to say Kaiden thought to himself. "Shouldn't you have them kept somewhere else besides your house?" he asked. If someone broke in for the paintings her and her family would be put at risk, along with anyone else in the house.

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

Sloane nodded in agreement, having already raised these concerns before. "Oh totally. But have you ever tried to reason with my parents when they want something? It doesn't work. That's why you're here," she said with a hint of a laugh to her voice. "I don't understand why they're worth so much. I'm pretty sure everyone paints something like this when they're five," she commented, tilting her head to the side as she looked at a blank piece of canvas platterd with red, black and yellow splotches.

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Kaiden laughed deeply for the first time being there at what she said. "It does kind of look like that," he murmured still smiling. Then he got more serious and said, "Maybe if I mention it to them and make it seem like a major concern they'll listen." He wasn't sure they would with what Sloane said but who knows, they might change their mind having a professional body guard telling them to do it.

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

Sloane looked over at him, her lips automatically curving into a smile because of his laugh. It was one of those laughs that made your toes curl just a bit and made you want to always have something witty to say just so you could hear it. "Oh it gets worse. She has on hanging up on the second floor that's punted white. The entire thing. It's just painted white. I don't get it," she told him honestly, shrugging her shoulders before biting her lip just lightly. "That's actually a really good idea. You should try it," she agreed honestly, hoping her voice didn't come out sarcastic as people often took it up as when she agreed with something.

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Kaiden was still looking at the painting and didn't see her smiling or looking over at him. He smiled slightly at that story and said, "I'm glad its moved in here then, its a little better." He then nodded but wondered if she was being sarcastic. Kaiden assumed that she wasn't and said, "I'll do that when we get back from this unknown location if they are here." He looked over at her when he said "unknown" but it wasn't angry since he was hoping that she would tell him now, mainly because he was curious.

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

Sloane sighed dramatically on purpose but there was an air of joking to it. "It's not like it's anywhere bad..." She told him, her eyes flitting back to the picture. "It's just Wesleys," she said nonchalantly, hoping he didn't recognise the name. The bar had allowed her and her friends in for as long as she could remember, despite the fact that they knew they were underage. They'd never gotten in trouble for that though, they'd only been shut down for a few weeks at a time for the few drug busts that had happened there. It wasn't anywhere particularly interesting, just somewhere she knew her parents would freak out if they heard of her going there.

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Kaiden looked at her sharply. "Wesleys?" he asked with wide eyes. He had heard about what was going on there but had never gone there. Kaiden ran a hand through his short hair and made it get a little messy. "Why would you go there if you know what has happened there?" he asked. Maybe this is another reason I was hired, because her parents know she goes there he thought and then paused. "Wait, do your parents know you go there?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

Sloane nodded, shrugging at him casuall but she knew that he recognised the place. She was starting to regret telling him. One phone call to her father would have her under lock and key for months. She got distractedly momentarily when he ran his hand through his hair. It looked good messy. "For exactly that. I know what's happened there," she answered, her tone almost snapping but not quite here yet. "And no. They don't. But they know that I used to," she told him, crossing her arms when he raised an eyebrow at her.

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Kaiden sighed and tried to figure out what to do. He didn't want to keep her in the house because she would have to go out at some point, whether it be sneaking out or with permission, but he didn't want her to go there with who knows there. "How about this, I won't tell your parents if I come with you whenever you go to Wesleys. There will also be rules you'll have to follow when there," he said adding the last part. He looked down at her and waited for her answer getting ready for her to get mad about having to follow rules.

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

Sloane resisted the urge to huff out a sigh. She felt like a child when all she'd ever wanted to be was an adult so she didn't have to deal with baby sitters and parental rules. And yet there she was with a bodyguard who was trying to give her rules. With her eyes calculating, narrowed slightly, she looked at him and tried to figure out whether to go with it or give up. "What are the rules?" she asked, keeping a straight face. She didn't like operating with rules, she'd always broken them, always gone against them. It wasn't that she had a problem with authority, she was just always able to get away with it.

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Kaiden saw that she was struggling with the idea of having rules but there had to be some. "First, I have to always be there with you, but that's obvious. Second, don't go near any strangers, only me or your friends. Third, if I say that we need to leave, then you'll leave knowing that its for your safety. Fourth, you can't drink too much. Its not good for you and something bad can happen if you're drunk," he said. He never drank that much to experience getting that drunk but he had seen girls getting drunk and it wasn't a pretty sight for him, especially now since he knew what could go wrong.

message 43: by [deleted user] (new)

Sloane hated it. Plain and simple. She hated that he was giving her rules and she hated that it was an ultimatum. Either she went along with them or he told her parents. She really needed to move out. "Well that's terribly boring. I go out to be social. Who am I supposed to hook up with if I can't talk to strangers?" she asked, tilting her head to the side as she looked at him. It was places like Wesleys that she wasn't Sloane Davenport and she liked it that way. At other places where people recognised her, it was a lot harder to find someone to just talk to and make friends with for a night or till the next morning, whatever she was in the mood for that night.

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Kaiden's eyes flashed with the thought of her randomly "hooking up" with someone. He didn't know it bothered him so much but he ignored that. "You're not supposed to randomly hook-up with anyone," he said shaking his head. "Why would you even do that? You don't know them," he said. For a second he had forgotten his role as her bodyguard and was showing his feelings. Kaiden had been in a few relationships before this job and they weren't serious. Since then, he hadn't really gotten to know someone or looked to meet other people.

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

Sloane shrugged off his concern. She already knew that it wasn't the best thing to do and she honestly would have preferred to have a relationship but she usually hated most people that she met and everyone that she did like was too close to her and completely friendzoned. "Yeah, well it's fun," she responded, kind of liking the fact that he was talking to her. There were so many people in her parents' staff who were determined to only be just that and too afraid of being fired to give any opinions. It was kind of refreshing and she hadn't thought that she'd like it but she did. "And not knowing them is perfect because it means you don't have to see them again," she added with another shrug.

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments "That's not a reason! They're strangers!" Kaiden said slightly raising his voice. He took a deep breath to calm himself a little and then said, "I'm sorry but no, you're not allowed to do that anymore. It's not safe." Kaiden didn't know why he was this protective over her but it scared him to imagine something happening to her. It's probably just because she is young and already had threats he told himself though he wasn't sure how that could justify him raising his voice.

message 47: by [deleted user] (new)

Sloane's eyes widened when he raised his voice and she was tempted to take a step back with the surprise but she stood her ground. She was confused as to why he was getting mad about it. She honestly didn't see how it was that much of a safety risk. "So first you're giving me rules and now you're trying to control my sexual life?" she asked, the annoyance clear in her barely restrained tone. "And it's not like you even got mad about the fact that it may not be safe. No you got mad about the fact that they're strangers. What is your problem?" She unfolded her arms, one hand going to her waist while the other dropped to her side in a loose fist.

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments "It's not safe because they are strangers. You can't trust them," Kaiden said. He pushed aside the memory that kept trying to make an appearance from when he was younger. No, he couldn't remember that now, especially having not thought about it for a while. "I'm not controlling your sexual life, I'm protecting you," he said quieter. He didn't look at her when he said this because his eyes were unfocused from remembering what had had happened to his sister years before.

message 49: by [deleted user] (new)

Sloane's eyes narrowed when he wouldn't look at her. He had gone quiet and considering the tone she'd used and the way he responded to her only moments before, she could tell that it was because something had happened. She'd managed to pick up on reading people, at least somewhat, from all the parties her parents had dragged her to. Everyone was always lying and hiding there but she'd managed to figure out a few things. "Whoever you're thinking about, I'm not them. So I'm going to do what I want and you can stop giving your opinion," she told him, her voice coming out sharper than she had meant it to but it was out there now and she couldn't take it back.

☆ ĄňŊǡƂėƮĦ ☆ ŞŧŎŋė | 3082 comments Kaiden looked up without showing any emotions though it was harder to this time. "I hope not but fine. You can go to Wesley's but I will watch from a distance. When you're ready to go, then we can go," he said shrugging. He was annoyed on the inside but he didn't let it show. Hopefully nothing would happen but he would step in if it got too far. "That better?" he asked her keeping eye contact.
