Up until this point in the book I really couldn't stand the character of Sansa, however now I really feel bad for her. The guilt that Sansa has to live with has to be overwhelming. She basically turned her back on the Stark family since she was being influenced by her infatuation over Jofferey with both his looks (gag

Amie Merker | 7 comments I am in the same boat as Brendan. Up until this point I was very annoyed with her character, but now I feel as if she is realizing that she needs to shed some of her naïve thinking. I am hoping that she continues to grow, because I love her character on the show!

-I agree with your both. She seems so defeated.

-I think King Joffrey needs a royal boot in the ass! He is horrifying.

-I have been thinking for the last couple chapters about Ned's beheading. I think it is just so bad that Ice was used. I don't know if we will ever see Ice again but I hope by some miracle it ends up in Jon or Arya's hands.

Know I had a long post there earlier. LOL. Just wondering if the whole post showed for everyone. It is cut short when I see it and can't figure out how to show the whole post.

Going to try to post the full post again, so here we go. Up until this point in the book really couldn't stand the character of Sansa. However now I feel bad for her. The guilt that Sansa has to live with has to be overwhelming. She basically turned her back on the Stark family since she was being influenced by her infatuation by her over Joffery with both his looks (gag) and the power that comes with being queen of the Seven Kingdoms. She was a traitor for infatuation and power. Now she is reduced to nothing with the psychological manipulation of Joffery. Her naïvety is reducing, but at what cost!! So sad that she contemplates suicide. I was shocked with the death of Septa Mordane!!! Here are two questions I have:
1.) What type of horrors are in store for Sansa from Joffery and his henchmen?
2.) Can "The Hound" be trusted with the protection of both Stark girls?

So NOW she doesn't want to marry him.
And now we're getting more glimpses of the true Joffrey.
I'm starting to feel bad for her. She's stuck with the people who killed her father.

Joffery is the worst! I do feel bad for Sansa but she is kind of pathetic.

message 12: by Brianna (new)

Brianna (bebecburt) | 562 comments She has all these ideas (jumping out a window, pushing Joffrey off the battlements...) but never follows through!

I find it difficult not to compare her to Arya. They are so different.

message 14: by Brianna (new)

Brianna (bebecburt) | 562 comments They are! I feel like Arya has more of their father in her and Sansa more of the Tully.
