The final sentence of the chapter:

"It was not until later that night, as she was drifting off to sleep, that Sansa realized that she had forgotten to ask about her sister."

Of course she forgot to ask. Sansa is all about Sansa and nobody else! This sentence made me angry.

Hazel Mercer (hazeofthemorning) The dynamic between Sansa and Cersei was amazing in this chapter and I can only imagine the meeting that had occurred before Sansa arrived to play her into writing those letters.

Oh yes to have been a fly on that wall.

I imagine it to be all Varys and Littlefinger to be honest. :')

Well yes, they are both equally slimy in my opinion. Especially Littlefinger.

And what the heck is a eunych or whatever Varys is. I tried to read about it. He's casterated or something????

What a messed up world they all live in---and I love it! lol

Yea, pretty much though this is what the internet turned up:
eunuch
ˈjuːnək/Submit
noun
a man who has been castrated, especially (in the past) one employed to guard the women's living areas at an oriental court.
an ineffectual person.
"a nation of political eunuchs"

I know, the world George R.R Martin has created is beautifully violent, though tame compared to real life history. :')

I wonder why they waited so long to ring the bells about Robert's death.
I wonder why Cersei didn't want Jeyne in the same room as Sansa. And why does Cersei want Jeyne out of the city?
"Her prince loved her. Nothing else mattered." UGH
I'm still not sure about Sansa. She is seriously obsessing over marrying Joffrey and basically throwing her own family under the bus!

Yeah Sansa wants what nearly every young girl wants - A rich, cute, Prince/King.

I am willing to cut her some slack. I was once young and naive too.

I agree her age has a lot to do with it. I just wish she was more aware of her family.

Yeah she is acting very selfishly.

Omar Foster | 44 comments I've said this earlier but I hate Sansa so much in this book, she basically sold out her own family just for Joffery and his pouty lips. If she didn't tell Cersei they were leaving, the Starks might of been able to leave
However, I agree that her age has something to do with it, she's only 14(I think) at this point, and the small council members are clearly manipulating her.
But I still hate her

I'm pretty sure she's younger. Jon is around 14 and he's older than her.

Omar Foster | 44 comments Yes you're she's only 12 during this book
