I need me one of those direwolves! They kick ass!

Robb really should not have left Bran by himself like that. What was he thinking?

This is quite a witty quote. I flew past it and don't even remember it. Thanks for sharing.

Ria (ban1chka) | 440 comments I wanted to slap Robb when he started yelling at Theon. It's not like I'm completely objective when it comes to him (and the Greyjoys in general), but no matter how I think about it, shooting that arrow was the best course of action. If he'd done nothing, chances are Robb would've had to kill the direwolves (or at least one of them) before the others showed up and what if they didn't show up at all? Stiv would've killed both him and Bran (like Bran himself pointed out). If he'd come nearer and tried to use his blade, they would've seen or heard him (or both). Several things could've happened when he shot:
1. He could've killed Stiv whithout any implications, which is what happened.
2. He could've missed and/or shot Bran, although Theon is actually a good archer, so the chances of that were rather small, and technically, no one shoots thinking "Shit, I'll miss". Even if he had missed, Stiv would've been startled, he would've tried to see who was shooting at him and that would've given enough time for either Robb, or (more likely) the direwolves to react.
3. Stiv could've been wearing armour. He'd still have the element of suprise and okay, maybe he could've aimed at his throat which was definitely unprotected, but then the chances of missing and/or shooting Bran would've been larger.
So yeah... Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think what Theon did was the best course of action for the moment.... although, why in the seven hells were his arrows in the ground? When did he have the time to stick them in? Does that mean he'd been there for quite some time before shooting? If that's truly the case - not nice, Theon, not nice...
In all truth though, I think Robb was simply mad at himself for leaving Bran alone and lashed out on Theon.

I think Theon did the right thing as well.

Phew, I'm glad. I was almost afraid I was becoming insanely obsessed :D //Is there a sane way to be obsessed?

Theon definitely likes to get around. lol
The saddle that Tyrion designed really makes me want to think he's innocent.
I think Robb was so upset with Theon because he cares so much about Bran. It was a risky thing to do, but Theon basically saved the day. Although it was Theon's fault that they weren't right behind Bran & Robb.

OMG I wondered the same thing! Maybe he was waiting for the right shot? And if he thought he could get away with not hurting Bran-why would it take all of them?
