Rachael (SnowAngelRachael) | 7 comments Hi everyone, I'm Rachael!

I have just found this website - who knew something like this existed! (Yes, I'm 25 and never found this before - shhhh!)

I was looking for some recommendations. My favourite books by far are the Louisiangel Series by CL Coffey and I was wondering if there was anything similar anyone would recommend for me?

Angel in Training (Louisiangel, #1) by C.L. Coffey Angel Eclipsed (Louisiangel, #2) by C.L. Coffey

The closest I've come is the Chicagoland Vampires, but I prefer angels if possible?

If it helps, the books I really don't like are the House of Night series and Evermore (whatever that series was called). No thank you!

And friends -I feel a bit odd asking, but some friends with similar reading interests popping up in my newsfeed would we cool!

Maybe Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series (hero is an archangel). Gena Showalter also has a series featuring angels. For similar to Chloe Neill maybe Ilona Andrews Kate Daniels series.

LOVE Immortals After Dark series A Hunger Like No Other (Immortals After Dark #2) by Kresley Cole

And of course the Night Huntress series Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost

Sana Zameer (sanazameer) Hi Rachael! and welcome to Goodreads. How about Fallen Angel Series by J R Ward. Also Hush Hush Saga, it's about angels and nephilims and I really enjoyed reading it.

message 5: by J (new)

J The Mortal Instruments series! This is the first book: City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare

Rachael (SnowAngelRachael) | 7 comments Oooh! I've read Hush Hush. I liked them. Tried Tormented but didn't feel that as much.

I've seen the Mortal Instruments film - they're going on my list.

I've not heard of any of the others (is that bad? I've only recently started reading again and I feel like I've missed out on so much). Thank you for the suggestions - I'll go investigate.

:) :)

Danielle Book Boss (daniellebookboss) Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1) by Laini Taylor - LOVED every single book in this trilogy

Raziel (The Fallen, #1) by Kristina Douglas - very adult, a little dark but enjoyed it!

And I wholeheartedly second the recommendation for Angels' Blood (Guild Hunter, #1) by Nalini Singh - godawful cover but one of my favorite series and the covers get better.

And Gena Showalter's Angels of the Dark series. It's a spinoff from her Lords of the Underworld which I suggest you read because it's really good! But I can say for sure I LOVE the spin off series while I enjoy the original. The heroes are super dark, brooding, etc. Wicked Nights (Angels of the Dark, #1) by Gena Showalter and The Darkest Night (Lords of the Underworld #1) by Gena Showalter

Jennifer Greenhall (jennifergreenhall) | 11 comments I've enjoyed the Immortals After Dark series by Kresley Cole. I also really liked the Cousins O'Dwyer trilogy by Nora Roberts (witches). Patricia Briggs's Mercy Thompson and Alpha and Omega series are also some of my faves. I'm coming out with the first book of my own series, Resonance, in a few months. I'll post a link then. Happy reading!
