My daughter really wants to see it. It hasn't gotten very good reviews though we have been interested when we've seen the trailer.

I just finished listening to the book on audible. Wasn't sure I would enjoy it because I'm really not into the whole "alien" genre but I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It wasn't your typical alien novel. The only reason I really decided to get the book in the first place was because the preview for the movie intrigued me. I really like the actress who plays the lead role (loved her in "If I Stay"). I'm really looking forward to reading the second book.

I'm a few chapters in with the audio and really enjoying the writing so far.

I was really shocked though when she (view spoiler)[ shoots that guy in the beginning - a bit abrupt and shocking especially for my daughter who I'm listening to this with (hide spoiler)]

When you are ready, Tracy. I'm not in a hurry since I've decided to wait till the movie comes out on DVD to see it. So there is plenty of time if you aren't in a rush. Just give me a heads up when you have it and we will buddy read. Hopefully by then Melissa has worked through her pile of books that are taking priority :D

Yep, I am enjoying the audio. I was lucky to get it through my library - they have it on Hoopla. Just need to make sure I get it done before it expires cuz I know it will take quite awhile to get it back again.

I started it already and I've read 25%. Basically covered the "history" part of the book. Chapters are grouped under the one title. So far so good. I'm wanting to read on, which is a good thing. I'm connecting to Cassie, who is the main protagonist, and am curious to find out what's in store for her.

I've been bad. I've read on more than I should lol up to 47%. I've been in the "just one more chapter" mode and I just couldn't stop until I forced myself too. I'm pleasantly surprised that the book is told by multiple POV's, thinking it will only be from Cassie's. It's so good and I'm rather captivated by the whole story so far. Hoping you start to read this soon, Tracy.

Sorry Sylvia. I have started but haven't been able to post. I'm listening to it so it's going pretty smooth for me. I'm about halfway through and love Zombie. Cassie is amazing as well.

Oh man, I've read up 73% and I don't know who to trust. Zombie is a stand out for sure and so much has been revealed so far. I'm not sure whether I can trust Evan or not but something is off for sure. The author has a great way of making you completely suspicious of everyone. Who is an alien or not.

There is definitely a lot of suspicion. There are many things that make me not trust Evan but I really want to :( If he helps Cassie then he can't be bad, right? If he hasn't killed her yet he's not one of them, right?

Lol. This is a fascinating book with the characters and who's trustworthy. The last of the book all action. It's hard to put down.

Couldn't agree more. I just finished it now and all I can say is, whoa!

Finished it and really enjoyed it. Definitely full of action and suspense. I rather enjoyed the tennis match I played out in my head regarding Evan. In the end, I ended up going with my gut instinct and loved him more for it. I can't wait to hear what you think regarding Evan, Tracy.

That ending too is one that has me wanting to dive right into the next book, but not without watching the movie first. I'm keen to visually see it play out.

Have you seen the movie Penni? I really want to see it now. I hear it's real close to the book.
