I was the same. I've maintained both sites since I joined GR so I didn't need to do anything transferring, but I did want the dates. I ended up just copying them manually.

I have managed to eek up to 3-4 per month, but it's rough going.

Karin | 9250 comments Today Shelfari took my posts right away, only once, but there is no longer any way to see which thread has new posts until you open it.

Sigh.

I've checked in a little bit, but fortunately it seems like most activity has moved here . . .thank goodness, because I'm having trouble keeping up with all the great posts here even though I'm really interested and trying!!

It has moved here for PBT and most groups have scattered to various places. I only go to Shelfari for one group that isn't moving until March 1.

UGH! Having an awful time with the transition. I had to contact GR tech support because nothing transferred for weeks. After half a dozen emails, they imported my shelf a day or so ago... and I'm having the same problems everyone else is. Everything was marked as read. That was tedious but fixable. If it didn't have a rating, it got moved (with a few exceptions for books I know I read). Then I started looking into the missing. This is going to take forever and will likely not be right. I'm trying to match the number of books under my tags from one shelf to another. Very tedious to find the missing and now I'm finding that some books transferred twice, which means my system doesn't even work. Delete one and they both go and you have to add one back again. Miss a duplicate and you miss a missing book. So annoyed I could scream. You spend years putting everything you read in one place and then they pull the plug. I'm not picky about moving over reviews or dates read but I just want all of my books to move over.

Also, GR is slow (probably because of the thousand ads loading!) and the tagging system stinks. V. cranky right now. Really miss Shelfari.

Are you using Firefox or Chrome? If so, you should add Adblock Plus. It blocks all the ads from Goodreads, so it may help it speed up a bit.
