What's better, the book or movie version of The Life of Pi?

This was one of the only movies I have ever seen that I thought was, in some ways, better than the book.

I liked the movie because of all the visual detail they put into it.

I liked the movie better because for me, the book was a little hard to follow.

I think that some movies in general can be better because it gives you a better visual.
