Lyra is the youngest of the large Connor family, and she was considerably more spoiled than her other siblings. She's rather self centered, and will go to many measures to achieves what she wants. She's incredibly ambitious, and if she has a goal, as long as it benefits her somehow, she will most definitely reach it. She is a bit vain, always caring about how she appears, though knows better than to act that way in public. Although she's self centered, she still cares a great deal about her family and hates to see them in pain or distress.
She is rather moody, acting completely normal in one moment and throwing a fit the next. As she aged, she has been able to control herself a little bit more, although her natural moodiness still occurs on a daily basis. She commonly has random outbursts of fury or sadness which are almost completely unexplainable. Lyra also has a fiery temper and gets upset quite easily, and once she's fuming it's hard for her to stop.✦ ━ D A T A »◊ ━ admires : power ; herself

Lyra Connor was the last born child to her loving parents, Suzanna and Killian Connor. She has three older siblings, two brothers and one sister: Perseus, Orion, and Andromeda, or simply known as Andy to her. She grew up in a large family and coven of witches in the lesser known town of Alexandria, Louisiana with not even 50,000 residents. Out of all her siblings, she was no doubt the closest to Andromeda. They bickered endlessly, yet still compliment each other well. As a child, even though she was seven years younger than Andromeda, they still spent hours playing outside around the lake and woods when the weather was nice and made up games inside during rainy days.
Since she could remember, her life was filled with magic. Their mother filled the household with all sorts of spells, and she watched her siblings grow up and experience signs of power, yet Lyra was stuck watching them and wishing that she had her powers. She was just about positive she was a witch: every female in her family was, and even her brother ended up being one. Luckily, her time eventually came when she was twelve. She was having one of her many angry fits, which were especially extreme since puberty had her emotions completely out of the normal. A small bit of fire appeared on her hand, and she was shocked, excited, though ended up sleeping for an entire day after that.
Throughout her young teenage years, Lyra practiced spells and controlling her power even though it was leave her fatigue for hours after. She was determined to be as powerful as the rest of her family, and if it took much practicing and days spent ridiculously tired, she would still do it. By the age of fifteen, she was able to cast spells without getting completely exhausted, and a few years later, she could do most spells with minimal effort. By that age, all of her brothers and sisters had moved out and she was eager to go into the real world. She decided to go to school at the University of Whitewater, knowing that the supernatural resided there, applied and got in.

Rose is very strange for a witch, being very bubbly and sociable with almost everyone who will act kindly towards her. She really doesn't hate people easily, and is very easy going. When teaching, she's only strict if she has to be, and enjoys doing so. She likes helping others and making others happy brings her joy. The only time she truly gets vicious is if people try messing with her, her loved ones, or any other witches in her coven. She's extremely protective over those whom she loves, and will kill those who oppose them without a second thought. As long as she's a friend, which is pretty easy, she won't hurt anyone.
She pretty much always has energy and is ready to go and move onto the next activity, though casting many spells in a short time span leaves Rose fatigue quite easily. Although she's powerful while controlling her element, she still cannot help but get tired, which sometimes delays her from doing other things she would like to do. She has a wide variety of friends, many witches, some humans, and a variety of other supernatural creatures; and her only enemies are those who hate on her or her loved ones. Rose Crewe was born to a middle class family in Seattle, Washington; her mother, working as an author at home and her father a director at a small film company. Her life wasn't super luxurious, but she got what she needed and what she wanted during special occasions. The family seemed completely normal to those whom resided around them, though of course, they weren't a regular household. Alexandria was a witch and James was also one. They were both in the elemental coven, her mother having the power of the earth and her father water.
As a child, magic surrounded her. Her mother would practice casting spells around the house while she was watching Rose run around the house, and she eagerly awaited the day when she would finally be able to harness her powers. Every sign of magic greatly fascinated her, and she was always quite a happy child, taking everything she ever received with great joy and helping whenever she could. No one would ever suspect the girl to be a "bad witch" like many stereotyped, but she truly was a kind girl.
When she was thirteen, her powers finally became apparent. On a very calm day, she suddenly brought forth a strong gust of wind, then fainted. Throughout the years, she learned to control the element of air, which was exciting though draining. She would experiment with her powers for the next few years, and even attended the University of Whitewater once she was of age. While there, she proved to be remarkably talented in theatre class, and went on to study it even after she graduated. She landed a minor role in a semi-well known film, and the next year when she was only 24, the university asked her to be the theatre teacher, and of course she accepted the offer.
