Elizabeth (Alaska) On this author are, I believe books by at least two authors.

All of the books by this author are on the other profile.

Looking at the covers, it appears he should be Christopher Clark and not Christopher Munro Clark (probably Christopher^^Clark). But the author photo and author description should be retained.

What is the best way of moving doing this? I don't think there are that many editions of just Christopher^Clark.

lethe | 16359 comments I agree that Munro shouldn't have been added to his name. It doesn't appear on any of the covers.

There is one other Christopher Clark, a GR author with 2 spaces and one book: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

Unless you are sure that apart from him and the historian, there is only one other Christopher Clark, I would change the historian to Christopher^^^Clark and let the one-space profile be the catch-all.

If you think all the non-historian books belong to one author, I would make the historian the one-space profile (by changing the one-space profile to 3 spaces, changing Christopher Munro Clark to Christopher^Clark, and moving his books back to one-space. things become more problematic, because both the one-space profile and the Munro profile have quotes and followers that most probably belong to the historian. I'm not sure what happens to them if the profiles are merged.

Elizabeth (Alaska) Yeah, I thought merging might be problematic. Thank you for researching the spacing situation, and alerting me to be on the lookout in future for quotes, etc.

I don't know how often this fellow publishes, but I think I'll edit the Munro fellow to 3 spaces. It will keep everything together, and if someone thinks otherwise, it will be fairly easy to change him back.
