Adding character information

Hi,

I am a newcomer to Goodreads but slowly getting up to speed. I'd like to add character information about my book but I gather this can only be done by a librarian via a request to this group?

I have all my characters very well documented on my book series web-site here:

http://portallas.com/characters

How do I get this information into the appropriate place on Goodreads?

Also, I just have to add that I've e-mailed the Goodreads support staff a few times over the past few days and the responses have been just fantastic. Every last response I have received has been timely and helpful and I've even had people do things for me instead of just responding with a link. The staff are wonderful :-)

Just out of curiosity, why is there a limitation on authors' ability to edit character details themselves? Is that by design or just a current limitation of the goodreads.com web-site design?
